GMR rocks... But I love walking around the park also, such a nice place to talk a stroll and see the entertainment.
Thank You for dropping by my post. I do hope you enjoyed your stay....

Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Play It!

Took me all of 1 show to get on the hot seat. Too bad I was there by myself that day, but if I wasn't, no one I would have been with would have wanted to go in there. So yay me and my $230 something 64,000 point prize package.

Re: Favorite thing about the Disney MGM Studios

I love Sunset and Hollywood Blvds. - some of the prettiest themed areas in the World.

I love the 50's Prime Time Diner, and Hollywood and Vine. Some of the best restaurants in the World.

I love the whole feel of the park - the Art Deco look is so cool.

I love how it feels like the 'old' Disney - the look most parks have if they were opened before Disneyland Paris, when it 'all went wrong'. It feels like no-one really minded too much about budget, it feels like you know your surroundings are getting on a bit in age but they still look as spectacular as they did on opening day.

    Most of all..
I love sitting in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre at sunset waiting for my beloved Fantasmic! to begin. I love the atmosphere as everyone gets excited and the tension builds. You can moan all you like about how the Disneyland version is so much better - I'm sure it is. But it doesn't mean my Fantasmic! is bad. I love it.

I like the park theming itself. It has that cool art deco and the look of being in a movie studio. I just have to agree, the hat must go or be moved. The best thing about that park was the entrance facing the chinese theatre. I also like Tower of Terror (best themed ride ever!)

hmmm...i like that whole feeling of being in a movie studio and the hustle and bustle. I absolutely love ToT and RnRC!! I love how everything just comes to life, from the giant AT-AT in front of Star Tours to the lobby of ToT.

Oh... and my favorite Muppet is Sweetums but I have quite a few favorites too.

Now back to the original topic....
I have a photo of Muppet Studios when it was suppose to be built. Back in 1990, "Here Come The Muppets" premiered and there was a sign by the tram tour. I got to see "Rollercoaster Rabbit" during the tour. Speaking of that, I miss the old tour lol.

I had a bad first experince with "Sounds Dangerously" with Drew Crery in Winter 2003. Either it was the cast member's first day or he was bad at his job. First, he started the show but forgot to hit the projector button then restarted the whole show. Overall I found the show, well not very fun. I only remeber saying " Welcome "a long pause" to "pause again" Sounds Dangerously. lol.

A Trip to the Disney MGM Studios would not be complete for me without a trip on The Great Movie Ride...
