Re: Progress on Ticket System Merger including new FastPasses...

Does this mean that I can go to DL in the morning, and use my Multi-AP for Fastpasses at WDW in the afternoon?

If so, that quickly sounds like a MiceChat National Gumball Rally.

Not yet. but wouldn't you have to start in FL to do that?

    The time change and flight...

I've been on both space mountains in the same day before, it's a cool experience.

you don't have to visit both parks that often, just visit both at least for a week, and then be near one or the other for a nice long period of time.

(I know a few micechatters who visit DLR or WDW at least once a year, and live near the other and do a lot of business, not to mention the discounts that could be offered for the platinum ap

Re: Progress on Ticket System Merger including new FastPasses...

at one point when they were announcing the latest version of pal mickey, he was going to have the capability of keeping track of your fast pass times. now with bar codes, they just have to install a reader in him and it would work.
I think the 6 park option will be just that an option, not mandatory. right now we have the seasonal and regular4 park annual passes that run about $350 if you are a florida resident, and the all inclusive pass that covers everything on the resort. I can't remember how much those passes are. DL has seasonal and premium aps. so this would be just another option for those that do either plan on visiting both resorts. also of note, the DL annual passes have alot more perks than WDW. so either WDW would have to get close to the same perks or DL would have to lose theirs. basically the only perk we get is free parking. no food or merchandise discounts in the parks.

CaptPhoebus, Dan, and I we're there when we tried to use WDW's FPs for DL. The CM must have had a bad day, because she didn't find the situation interesting at all. As if we we're trying to Con her into letting us ride with fake FPs.

I herd a story of someone who tried that too, went to MK in the morning as they lived down the street.. got a FP and took photos for fresh ideas.. got to mco, flew to orange.. went to disneyland... and attempted to use the WDW space FP at DL's Space and the cast member thought it was a practical joke and rejected it...

it was still valid as it was same day still.

my guess till they print DisneyParks on the FP tickets, most tickets will still have a detectable difference.
