I went berzerk in January when I saw Marie at MGM. There was no one with her and I literally ran like a huge nerd. The reason I was so excited is because I named one of my cats Marie, and I thought it would be cute to put a picture of me and Marie with me and my cat, Marie in a side-by-side frame (um, am I destined to be single for the rest of my life or what? .
Same trip, new characters I was stoked to meet: Clarabelle and Horace. Seriously, that was so exciting! And of course, barely anyone know who they were. Perhaps it will inspire people to watch the old cartoons...you never know.
Oh, and Jiminy Cricket and Darkwing Duck...those are my current *rare* faves (obviously I agree with those who mention the "staples" as well).
"When entering the theater, please move as far to the end of the row as possible. Stopping in the middle is distinctly unpatriotic." -Sam Eagle
"I may have invented these bifocals I'm wearing, but I can assure you they're not rose-colored" -Ben Franklin, The American Adventure
my favorites, aurora, belle, snow white, and pluto. Everytime that dog is out he seems to run amok in the crowds and his handlers have so much trouble keeping him in line. He is alot of fun to watch and the kids seem to just love him. The last time I saw him, his handler threatened to put him on a leash if he didn't behave and the little kids around him booed her.
Sabres, I share your excitement about Clarabelle. It was so cool seeing an "old" character. I made my daughter have her picture made with her. Later we were in the Family Day parade and got to march right behind her.
It is silly but I am also excited to meet Handy Manny. My daughter and I watch the show almost every day and recently they (Disney) made a HM character that meets in MGM.
Personally I like watching the face character villians. They seem to have the most fun interacting with people. I could have stood all day and watched Cinderella's step sisters and step mother last Saturday.
Belle of course, I'm wearing her dress right now. Please don't tell my wife!!
You'd be surprised to know almost 100% of women married to cross-dressing husbands are supportive of their mates and their "needs". Besides, women can always use some good old fashion consulting from someone who knows how to dress accordingly.
