I believe I was only eight or nine when I stayed here, but I remember enjoying myself. I really liked the theming at the pool, great for kids, and the color and style of the whole place in general. I can't remember the name of the market-style restaurant but it was very good, too. Hope you enjoy your stay!
This was my first stay at a moderate resort, so I was suprised that it is motel- like accomidations. Meaning, all of the rooms doors open into outside hallways, like a motel. I had no idea that moderates were like that, and to me personally, it was too much money to pay to have motel-type entryways. I don't think that the promotional material for any of the moderates makes it clear that they are outside entryways.
Yeah, I never thought of this characteristic as that of a low-rate establishment necessarily. I usually stay at a Hilton Grand Vacations resort when I'm in Orlando, and their resorts have similar outside walkways to the rooms. The accommodations are stunning, though and each of the studios and 1,2, or 3 bedroom suites have their own balconies as well. Really a nice, relaxing place; definitely not what I would call low end!
