Re: Disruptive Teens Arrested at WDW

Well, at least it happened later in the evening when there were (hopefully) fewer kids around.

And that is a good question, Parisi, where were the damn parents??

A former CM once told me that parents used to use WDW as a daycare because AP's were cheaper than a real daycare service! WTH?? Does that still happen there?

Re: Disruptive Teens Arrested at WDW

Something kinda similar happened 6 years ago at a concert at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney and I got to witness the whole thing. Security told this girl to not run, so what did she do? She shoved the security guy! At that point they considered her trespassing so they asked her to leave. She wouldn't. So they called the Orange County Sheriff and they dragged her out kicking and screaming. My friends and I found out later once the cops got her outside, she kicked one of them in the nuts! So she was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest and assault on an officer. She spent 2 nights in jail and missed the concerts she drove from North Carolina to see. What's worse is she nearly stranded my 2 friends that rode down with her (they drove from Virginia to North Carolina then rode with the little psycho from NC to Orlando).

The funny part? a few days later this moron called me trying to explain "her side" of the story. I read her the riot act and told her she was an idiot. Never heard from her again.

If it's the wrong way to feel then I don't want to be right either. More of this should happen...then maybe other people will act more civilized to avoid this happening to them. People just have no fear of consequences anymore.

Crazy news! I just saw that too while reading news after I got back from class. I put it in the MC News section as well: Tourists Arrested at Magic Kingdom.

Even though the law says they were adults, I would not classify them as such, especially by their actions.

Going out on a limb here, I can picture what was going on. "Yeah, we may be kids, be we are sooooo much cooler than all the other people here at WDW. Let's demonstrate just how cool we are by cursing and spitting at them." Unfortunately this type of behavior comes from fear, peer pressure, and a lack of social skills. And where do these traits come from? From a lack of parenting skills.

Well, if your parents can't teach you, maybe you can learn from a taser.

You have to have some self dignity to have any shame. Apparently these kids had neither.

May have to?!?! I am putting that in my signature line. That is definitely the quote of the day, and up there with "Tigger does more parenting before 9am than most parents do in their lifetime".

    hmmmm, Tigger with a Taser...

Oh by the way, I totally agree with kicking those people out and arresting them. Go WDW security!

I hope you and your taser are still honored as I hoped on to that quoting Dave bandwagon.
