    why no WDW trip reports?

I usually frequent the disneyland thread becasue well im a disneyland CM. But i decided to take a look in here and now i have a question. Why isnt there that many trip reports here. disneyland has like 6 a day? Is it because of subs at disneyland or is it the fact that nothings going on at WDW? inquiring minds wanna know

Mice Chat is a Disneyland dominated board. That's neither good nor bad, just a fact. The majority of members live closer to Disneyland than WDW. They post more often overall, and thus they post more trip reports.

Yeah, just look at the count of viewers for each of the two "Celebrate the Parks" forums. For example, currently there are 265 viewing the Disneyland forum, while only 46 viewing the WDW forum.

Actually, it's because WDW people are just lazier than DL people.

While you might argue that there are a lot of MiceChatters from the DL side, there are WDW MiceChatters here too.

There are quite a few trip reports to be found, but there's just more to cover and many "Trip Reports" are often posted as "News." In this past week there have been a number of them appear that are multiple days long instead of just covering a few hours.
    Threads started 5/18-5/22:

5/18-5/20 evilqueenrocks meets other MiceChatters(with photos)
    Sealsm's TR 5/12 - 5/19 (photo heavy)
COP. Fix it or Close it for good!
    Wdw-mk,ep-5/19/2007
Aimster & Wonderpup at WDW 5/18-5/19 (lots of photos!)
Trip Report: MY FIRST TRIP TO WDW!

Those TRs take a while to put together as some are still being worked on and I'm still working on mine from last week!

Now, now - let's not devlove this into a DL-WDW mudsling. It's just a fact that the west coast MC gang posts more. Plain and simple. More posts means more TR's posted.

We are fairly lazy over here, though...

Psh! I would be as stuck in the middle a bit more than most... but I'm just pointing out that a TR, especially of a day trip (like TDLFAN does) takes a bit less time than that of a week-long vacation. That is all. Also, my TRs from DL are easier to write than WDW's because of less stuff to put in, regardless of duration of trip. Just my 2 cents, again.

I like to think of it as more relaxed.

I also think that the WDW locals are more spread out than in CA. Almost all the people I've met live within 5 hours of WDW instead of 20 minutes away. Not all, but a good portion of us are spread around the state so most of us post a TR but only when we go for the day and/or weekend.

And I'm not lazy, I go to WDW too much if you ask me.

Now hold on, before our piglet flies off the handle. I don't doubt that a week long TR takes longer to complete than a day trip to DL. All the OP was asking was about the overall quantity of TR's. And it's a simple fact that there are (like way) more posts over in the DL forum than here.

... and, when you're done with last week's TR, we're still waiting for the two before that one ...
