    Vintage WDW: 1978

I apologize in advance for the poor quality. I don't have a scanner, so I used my digital camera to take photos of these old pics. Also, these were all taken by my dad, who is the world's worst photographer.

My 1st visit to WDW, March 1978 (I was 3 at the time... turned 4 that summer).

Me & Pluto (I'm on the right. I have no idea who the other 2 girls are)

    Castle

Me & Dale (dad is really good at cutting off heads)

Mickey! (again I'm on the right and I have no idea who the other kid is)

    Mickey's 50th Birthday Parade!

Great pics, thanks for sharing your childhood with us!

I'm a little surprised (pleasantly so) that the characters all pretty much look the same now as they did then.

I wonder if my parents still have some of our old photos...

I'm sure my mom still has other photos taken over the years (some even from our Disneyland trips in 1986 & 1989). Will ask if she can dig the albums out and bring them with her when they come down in October for a couple weeks.

All things considered, the photos weren't bad!

I was especially interested because, as a Disneyland CM of the time, I went alone across country and saw what existed of WDW at that time, in April of that year 1978, and that's the only time I have ever been.

And how well I remember the whole Mickey's 50th, and parade and such, from it's run at DL.

    Thank you for sharing these!
