Re: The Clinkerbelle's Gay Days weekend Trip Report

Saturday Morning, tropical storm RadioBarry ... I mean Barry was threatening to make Satuday a VERY wet day. Fortunately the big storm never happened and it turned out to be a very nice day.

The End ...

Okay, Okay ... just kidding.

So where we last left you we had opened and closed Epcot. We didn't quite make it for opening of the Magic Kingdom, but it wasn't too late.

We got to the TTC at about 9:30 and because it was Gay Days, we had to take the Fairy ... I mean FerryBoat.

Upon embarking on the Admirl Joe Fowler, we took a top rail standing position to get some nice pictures of the MK as we approached.

The clouds looked cool much of the day

While waiting for a photopass picture in front of the castle I had to take a doubletake. The CM turned out to be a very good friend of mine I hadn't seen in about 3 years. And I had no idea he worked at the MK. We visited for a minute, Belle took a picture of us (I won't post it since he's a CM) but since he's a lurker here, maybe he'll see the TR.

After our Photopass experience, it was off to Tomorrowland to get Space Mtn fastpasses for later in the day and to ride the Peoplemover.

On the Peoplemover

Now Approaching, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress

After 2 rides on the Peoplemover, we headed for the Hub to meet the boys who were just arriving at the park.

But first ...

The Clinkerbelles decked out in red

We finally met up with the boys, we then all decided to get FP's for Big Thunder and take a ride on Pirates before the meet

We got stuck on Pirates and were fashionably late for the meet. But we were there.

Group picture at the meet

We all then headed for the Harbor House for lunch

It was quite yummy.

What could be better after a big lunch, why a ride on the Haunted Mansion of course.

Hope you enjoyed the first part of Magic Kingdom. There will probably be two more parts.

Stay tuned tomorrow as Sir Cllinksalot is the butt of jokes at Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, a sea or red people invade the Magic Kingdom, a goofy dinner and more.

No, no she couldn't. Nor could she be more tolerant of the 5 silly boys she was stuck with!

What wonderful pictures! I'm so impressed how you guys squeeze out every minute of the parks you can. The pictures of the flower festival are simply beautiful and I just love all the topiaries. But, my favorite picture so far has to be the one of Ohana's dessert <sigh>...best dessert of earth!

Great trip report! This is making me want to go back to WDW so much! It got me thinking that since you guys are Californians and got APs that I should do the same!

Looking forward to the next part!

Yes it was fantastic, our waitress got the recipe printed up for me, I have it at home if anyone is interested I'd be happy to share it. I also have the potatoes au gratin recipe.

I made it once and it came out really good too. I Ohanas!

Re: The Clinkerbelle's Gay Days weekend Trip Report

Now on to MK part II

After Haunted Mansion it was time for Splash Mtn and Big Thunder.

Liberty Belle (still need to ride this sometime)

Big Thunder

This is what Belle had to put up with all day

Shot of the HM from Frontierland

The backside of the castle

I see RED people

After the parade it was off to get FP's for Space Mtn and ride the Peoplemover

Space Tree

Onto Monsters Inc which was surprisingly funny (although on repeat viewings it may not be)

Some more group pictures taken by my PhotoPass friend

Belle is surrounded by her boys (not sure where Dusty is looking ... okay, maybe I am)

National Treasure 1.5 ... Search for the Magic Kingdom

My favorite ... Donald's Philharmagic

I can hear Swisskapaloosa now

Another group picture

Up next was the Jungle Cruise

Tick Tock Tick Tock

After a trip on the train, it was time for dinner. YUMMY!!!

Dusty, Fishbulb and Bill are ready to eat

Who ISN'T Goofy in this photo?

Belle likes the taters

The Clinkerbelle's with Dale

MickeyMaxx and Rixter with 2 pretty ladies

3 of my favoritist people

GoodBye Liberty Tree ... it will be hard choosing between this and Crystal Palace in October I can tell you

Castle Pictures

Rockets

It was time for Space Mtn

Red Dusty

After Space we all decided to say our goodbye's for the night. But not before one last group picture

I have to say, this was one of the funnest days at a Theme Park EVER. And that all comes down to the group of friends we had the pleasure to spend time with all day.

Bye Magic Kingdom, see you in October
