I loved the sepia pictures of Everest. Very classy!

The Yellow Ranger has always been a girl.
They have always (to the best of my knowledge) had a Star Wars segment in the parade.

While waiting for a photopass picture in front of the castle I had to take a doubletake. The CM turned out to be a very good friend of mine I hadn't seen in about 3 years. Ok, first of all I totally missed that Stars 'n Cars parade... I had no idea they had all those cool custom cars. So you mentioned it's ending? Does that mean permanently? I won't be able to see it in October?

It's so sad your TR is over. Reminds me of the whole trip coming to an end all over again.

I'm love that parade. It's all about the cars for me. I would be happy to own any of those cars, especially the Star Wars Studebaker, which, yes, has been in the parade each of the three times I've seen it. Thanks for shots.

DOOM, I agree, it's kind of like the trip is really over, for sure, now that the TR's are over.

It is so sad that our Trip Report is done. We had such a fabulous time and it was sad to see it end. However, next trip will be longer and with the kids and my mom who has never been there, so it will be another very memorable trip.

I want to thank Dusty and Fishy, Rick and Lu and everyone else we spent time with. It was a very magical trip and I enjoyed spending so much time with everyone and drinking around the world. It will be a trip that I never forget.

Did someone say we are going next year?!!?!? Count us in!!!!!

And also thanks to everyone for reading and commenting on our trip. We had a blast.

When are they replacing the stars and cars parade and what with?
I loved that parade because of all the different characters and the themed cars.
Oh and R2D2 and Luke and Leia were in the parade in Oct, too

Lovely trip report! But I must ask - when did WDW start using horse-drawn carriages? I have *never* seen this at either park. From this pic it looks like just another Main Street conveyance for any visitor to use. Anyone have any further info?

It's still a rumor, but from what I've heard from Studios cast and entertainment is that it's still a NO GO. I have many reasons for this as well, so there is no need to repeat them here in this wonderful TR. So with that, Stars and Motor Cars lives on!

Its been there "forever"

I am not sure, but it seems to be crowd specific. When it gets to crowded, its not out. (Makes sense)

It goes up and down Main Street and you pay to ride, just like the cars.

Most of the time it is there in the AM
