The Clinkerbelle's Gay Days weekend Trip Report

Well, I'm not going to try and top "Year of a Million Queens", but I can give you the Gay Days experience from the "Breeders" point of view.

Our trip actually began Wednesday night as we took the red-eye from LA to Orlando. Belle and I had seats next to each other, but some baby and mom both had aisle seats so we let them use ours and I took the aisle across the row.

Sat next to a very nice couple that were experiencing their first Gay Days and first trip to WDW. They were so excited they didn't sleep at all.

Landed in Orlando with no problems. Even at 6:30am and with no sleep ... still beautiful

After getting our car ($50 for four days with some awesome certificates) it was off to our Hotel - Port Orleans Riverside

We got lucky and were able to check into our room, Good Ol' #8566

After a quick face wash, teeth brush, deodrant check it was off to the food court for breakfast. Then, since "Good Tower" was calling our name, it was off to Disney MGM Studios.

After getting our AP's (and some TOT fastpasses because it took awhile) we were on our way.

Mmmm ... Tower

But since we already had Fastpasses thanks to our awesome Ticket Booth CM (who we later gave a nice compliment too at Guest Relations) we figured we'd get FP's for Rock N' Roller Coaster and also ride it.

In October, Belle and I REALLY loved RnRC, this time it really beat us up for some reason. As 1 ride was enough for us we didn't even use our fastpasses and headed for Tower which was a short 10 minute wait.

Cool Mister effect

After our first ride on Tower we got back in line and used our free fastpasses. This ride is SO awesome, I love it. Although I will give the DCA version one thing over this one. The Sound quality is much better in CA. But THAT'S IT!!! Other than that this tower is better in every way.

We then decided to walk around and check out the park a bit.

Belle had to call home (and as you can see, is starting to get a bit tired)

Mr Walt

Star Tours

They had some cool Star Wars stuff up already for Star Wars Weekends

At this point the lack of sleep was starting to hit us. Since we were going to MK, had dinner reservations at 'Ohana and were planning on meeting "The Boys" at Pleasure Island later that night, it was off to the hotel for a nap.

We took the tram (why can't Disneyland have these where there tram is?)

Back at the Hotel, I walked over to get some water before napping.

Outside of our room

The Sassagoula River

Stay Tuned later for MK, 'Ohana and Pleasure Island.

A breeder should never try to top a queen. Unless they ask.

Re: The Clinkerbelle's Gay Days weekend Trip Report

Ok, so I am going to try to continue the TR....

After a nap, we felt SO refreshed. We had dinner reservations at 'Ohana so we decided to park at the Polynesian. What a beautiful resort this is.

The beautiful castle with my honey..

Our first stop: Mickeys Philharmagic, our favorite!

Next up was TTA (aka the Peoplemover)

Another shot of the castle...

We decided to do POTC

We walked around a little more and then decided to head back to the Polynesian for our dinner. We took the boat from MK to the Polynesian and it was a nice ride...

We got to the dock and decided to take some pictures...

Now for the meal we had been waiting for: 'Ohana!!!!

The pit where they cook the skewers

Yummy sauces for the fried won tons and meats...

Gregg wanted a fruity drink and he got one: a Lapu Lapu

The fabulous honey wings, potatoes, veggies and shrimp

The meats!! Turkey, sausage, steak and chicken

Awww....

And the finale of the dinner....Bread Pudding with Bananas Foster sauce..YUM

We called our friends who were at Pleasure Island and decided to walk around since we had never been there.

Everyone was at Raglan Road so we decided to say hi

Stop for some scratchies...

Last year I had heard so much about the bucket of booze, I HAD to get one...

We said our good-byes as we were all tired. We made our plans for the next day and we went to go to sleep.

Up next: Day 2 at Epcot!!
