How do you wrap up your WDW trip?

What is the one thing you MUST do when your trip has come to an end?

I know plenty of you MC'ers have a ritual of a riding a certain ride, chowing down on something fried? Being last to leave the park, or grabbing that hotel shampoo bottle?

So how do you cap things off and put a cherry on top?...

We always stop at the Hess station on our way to 417. We live on the east coast of Florida and with the seasonal passes we try to get over to Disney once or twice a month.

For some reason gas is 10 cents cheaper at Disney than it is hat home. We fill up the tank and get a drink (cheap fountain soda).

I like to make that final stroll through the shops (yes with the hoardes), get on the resort loop for the monorail (when i park at the TTC ) and get heavy hearted when i see the kingdom vanish from view.

I always drop the Magic Kingdom for one last Jungle Cruise and Pineapple Float before my 8 hour drive home.

We usually spend all of the cash in my wallet at the Confectionary or the Bakery during the fireworks or parade. I just wish everyone else didnt have the same idea.

We grab EVERY LAST shampoo and soap in the room, and on the day we leave, we stop by the MK and have an ice cream on Main Street - I always get vanilla - and watch the people and the castle ( and usually sneak in a ride on either Big Thunder, Splash, or Space ). And other rituals I'll remember soon enough!

Out to dinner at California Grill the last night of our stay. We usually go to CG early in our stay and then the again on the last night. The next morning it is just packing and getting ready to go.

We like to make sure that MK is the last park we go to. We stay until closing and walk down main street talking about what a great time we had. It always gets me teary eyed when we walk under the bridge and the Cast Members are waving good-bye with Mickey hands.

Re: How do you wrap up your WDW trip?

I always book a late pm flight with my party so we have the early morning to check out [usually 9am], check out luggage and get our boarding passes through the Disney hotel, have the hotel hold our carry ons with a fresh shirt to be put on later for the flight, head out to the Magic Kingdom and journey down Main Street for any last shopping needs and maybe catch a ride and/or autograph. We also give ourselves enough time to get back to the resort [about an hour's time] and get our carry ons and get on the bus back to the airport. Simple yet complicated as that.

For the last two trips, we ended our trips at WS in Epcot. I dragged my little kids on a last trip on the Maelstrom (one of their faves)

On that last day, we pack up our bags, and take them up to the front desk. I always head over to one of the parks because there is always something I forgot to buy. Then after that, we head over to Magic Kingdom to soak up the atmosphere while I sit down and eat a Mickey ice cream bar.

Then I get up, blow the castle a kiss and turn around and leave. *sniff*
