MK - 06/16/07 - I was a DREAM WINNER! Photo heavy!

I was inspired by another thread to see if it was possible to ride every single attraction at MK in one day. Little did I know I would have some help along the way but more on that later.. Here is my story..

It was a beautiful, yet humid day as I caught the tram to the TTC.

The crowds were pleasantly light as I made my way to the ferry boat.

"General Joe Potter, at your assistance ma'am." Why thank you General, don't mind if I do.

After a somewhat delayed send off, we were on our way!

Almost there!

Goodbye General, until we meet again.

The train station was welcoming in all her glory.

To the trains!? Not now but definitely later..

The beauty of Main Street is I always see something new when I visit, like this window for example.

To break from the heat as much as possible, I cut through the Emporium where I happened upon Disco Mickey! Do the hustle!! *hums* Not really, but that's what I was thinking when I took this photo.

What CM's do when they get bored.

Ah Casey's, empty right now but waiting to serve it's next hot dog.

Back into the sunlight I go, yep she's still there!

Oh look! The welcoming committee, will have to skip them today, I was on a mission..

*Enter Adventureland music* Interesting..

First stop, this tremendous treehouse, belongs to the Swiss Family, was nice to have it "mostly" to myself.

Nap Time! What's this? The door is locked, well that's just rude..

The view is pretty though!

It's plastic! The other, other white meat!

With that behind me I headed towards Agrabah, with only a 5 minute wait, who could pass that up?!

#13? Is that a prophecy for things to come? Well a camel did spit on me, does that count?

Yay! We all flew our carpets to safety!

It was then I met this guy who decided to take us on a Jungle Cruise.

See that guy in front? He told me if you were stuck in the sun 365 days a year and were bolted to ground, you'd be hot too. He seemed a little bitter, so we quickly left..

The last time I saw a plane like this Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas were eating a snake and smoking...nevermind, it's a family TR after all..

This is what happens when you drink and take photos on the Jungle Cruise, Just Say No kids, just say no..

It seems we got stuck on our 3 hour tour for a little while longer than I expected. Sadly, I noticed I missed my favorite skipper by one boat, you know who you are!

Well after that interesting trip, I decided to see what the pirates were up to.

Nope, still there, you would think he would have moved by now!

Davy Jones! I don't fear death..honest!

Barbossa has been in the rum again..

"We wants da redhead!" Not really, but I wouldn't mind her dress.

You know after taking this photo I had to wonder how hungry Jack must be sitting in the same spot for over 12 hours a day. That bird might start to look good after awhile.

Upon exiting Wendy was kind enough to pose for a photo.

Turbulent flume a-d-ve-n-ture.. sounds like fun to me!

Moonshine! Oh I get it now. You know they set you up in this ride, cute little story, fun song and then BAM! The bottom drops out.

See! Look at the cute opossums, nevermind that dark drop up ahead, really.

Whew! I made it! *sings* Zip a Dee Do Dah!..

Hmm, where to go..where to go..

Why Big Thunder Mountain of course!

This is where my day got a WHOLE LOT BETTER..(as if being at MK wasn't enough) There was one CM loading both sides of BTM and I had asked for the very back, you know for the whipping, and she sent me to the left. Well while she went back to loading the right side, an empty train showed up, so I got in, sat down and waited, thinking they would bring other people on. Nope! They gave me an ENTIRE train car all to myself, I have never screamed so loud in my life. So here, for your viewing pleasure, is BTM, from the back seat, with no other passengers. MUHAHAHAHA

I have to say those tunnels are a LOT creepier when your alone.

Just when I think my day couldn't get any better, I exit and see the Dream Squad! WOOHOO! It's where I ran into this wonderfully nice CM Amy who said, "Congratulations!" and handed me a Dream Fastpass!

Oh yeah, I could do some damage with this..

To be continued... Will I make every attraction? Will I need to use the Dream Fastpass? Wait and see!!

ok....now this stinks! I fought myself over and over about driving down to meet you this weekend but with it being Father's day I had to cater to my husband instead. Good for you on the Dreams FP! Made your day to yourself even better!

Well now that time was apparently on my side, I decided to take a trip to Tom Sawyer's Island. An great overlooked attraction..IMHO.

Imagine my surprise when I boarded the raft only to see this..

That's right, there really ARE alligators in the river.

As if that wasn't enough, this cute little gecko decided to hitch a ride to the island, he was cute so I snapped him.

There really is a lot of things to do on this island, between the barrel bridge, the fort, the paths and the caves, you can spend a decent amount of time adventuring here. And that's just what I did..

Did I forget to mention the views are spectacular!

I think my dad owned those very pants back in the 70's.

This chicken looks like it's about to go crazy on me, I better go..

Escape Tunnel! Well, why didn't you say so!

Yes, it IS that small. Suck in people, suck it in..

Injun Joe's Cave! I've seen that in VMK before..

*sings* Working in a coal mine...

Oh look! It's the very "first" playground in MK.

Now if only that last sentence could be applied throughout the park, my day would go a lot better.

Time to depart, Tom was nice enough to give me a lift.

A Country Bear Jamboree sounds nice right about now..

Can't help but clap your hands and stomp your feet..

Uh oh, drinking again, can't take me anywhere..

Oh look! He had the same thing I did. hehe

Aww, aren't they just the cutest!

My favorite though is the bear that comes down out of the ceiling.

Upon exiting I notice Woody's Cowboy Camp was starting, it's cute but I left the minute they started grabbing adults to put scene cut outs on their head.

Something else was calling to me.....

CHURRO TIME!!

After that scrumptous snack I headed over to the Liberty Square Riverboat, as it had been YEARS since I'd been on it, I thought it was time for a visit.

The interior of this vessel is just gorgeous and the views from it just can't be beat!

You know you never really appreciate the size of BTM until you go by it on a big riverboat.

Anyone know the story on this guy? I thought it was a cute little scene.

I'm hoping its a shadow, I know Disney was PC but come on, the indians don't have any nips, that's a little to much for me.

Haunted Mansion looks the same to me! I wonder what's going on inside!

I did notice one thing though, free churro to anyone that can tell me what's missing from this photo. I sincerely hope they bring it back.

Thanks for the lift old girl, I can only hope to ride you again in another 20 years or so.

Time to head to Fantasyland, hello the old Skyway Station, how I miss you so.

Time to break off the old dream fastpass, I apologize though, none of the photos I took in this ride came out, this is all I have for you.

This is my favorite scene in its a small world, unfortunately I can never seem to get a good shot of it.

Lunch Time! One of the few places left that doesn't serve the staple chicken and burgers.

I had the turkey/bacon panini with Figaro fries. YUUMMMY!

After lunch I headed over to Mickey's Philharmagic. I didn't waste the FP on this attraction, the wait in never horrible.

Not just automatically, autoMAGICally..

Yep, I even rode the carousel, thank goodness for those seat cars they have, there was no way I was getting on a horse.

Snapped off another FP and headed over to Pooh for some Tiggerific fun.

Unfortunately this ride stopped about every 5 feet and that annoying announcment came on EVERY time so I didn't enjoy it so much. But hey! at least I got this nice picture.

This just in, main character has been replaced by talking pumpkin, film at 11.... just kidding.

Time to break into that FP again, Buzz time! (You know there are so many partier jokes in this park, I just never realized. )

Time for Space Mountain! I'm always afraid the car is going to fly off the track, I have no idea why.

Yes, I even went on Stitch. I hate to say as much as I miss AE I think Stitch is starting to grow on me.

And now for the other attraction just across the way...

I did manage to snag this photo of the interior before a CM so rudely thrusted his hand in front of my camera and reminded me there was no photography allowed in the room. (Yeah buddy, the attraction isn't that great)

After that I walked back over to Main Street to turn in my VMK quests and then headed towards the train station. I was surprised and pleased to see all the Main Street vehicles out, even the double decker bus was cruising the street.

It was at that point my batteries died...again, so I headed over to the Big Tent to refuel the camera cells, so to speak.

Minnie's Country House is cute and interactive, there are some great photo ops, if you can get around all the people.

Donald's Boat was my last stop for the day, sadly there isn't much to do on the boat, but I did snag a photo.

Toontown is great for the little ones, unfortunately there isn't much for us adults to do there unless your going to see some characters. It was at that time I started to get tired, had I been staying overnight I would have stayed through close but I just can't seem to make it anymore.

For those keeping score, the only attractions I didn't do were:

Dumbo
Tiki Room
Hall of Presidents
Mad Tea Party
Snow White
Indy Speedway

I left around 7pm, I imagine had I stayed through the evening I would have accomplished my goal, with a 1hour drive home I didn't want to exhaust myself. Maybe next time.
