Prices To Increase At 'Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques'

On 9/10/07, a second Boutique will be opening in the Magic Kingdom adjacent to Cinderellas Castle at which time prices will be increased at both locations for all services.

Current Package Prices
(thru 9/09/07)

COACH: Hair style and shimmering makeup - $35.00 plus tax
CROWN: Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails - $45.00 plus tax
CASTLE: Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails plus full Princess costume with accessories and photo package (one 6x8 and four 4x6 pix) - starting at $175.00 plus tax
COOL DUDE : Hair style, colored gels and a Mickey stencil - $10 (no tax)

Proposed Package Prices

CROWN: Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails - $49.95 plus tax

i read somewhere that the barber shop on main street does color streaks and glitter etc. to hair . does anyone know the prices on that for girls and boys?

Here are the Harmony Barber Shop prices:

Haircuts for children age 12 and under are $14.
Colored hair gel costs $5.
An adult haircut costs $17.
Beard and mustache trims are $10.

I am not aware of streaks and glitter though.

As if this wasn't expensive enough. I am so happy that my upcoming child is a boy so I don't get railed into spending 200 bucks on this sham.

Why are they increasing the prices?? Did they finally find out how really difficult it is to turn these little brats into princesses?? I mean... there is only so much a hair stylist can do with so little to work with.

I have a feeling they are raising prices for two reasons: They know moms will pay it, and they want to to try to decrease demand a little. I think they may be anticipating that it will be very hard to get in at the castle.

Rules for guests

Prior to a visit, the following rules have been imposed for this venue now as well:

- hair must be freshly clean and brushed out (no tangles)
- hair must be free of all styling aids/products like gels, mousse, hairspray, barrettes, etc.
- fingernails must be clean and free of all nail polish/decals
- child must bring their own brush/comb with them for the Fairy Godmother to use
- scalp must be free and clear of any "conditions" or irritations for the last 30 days

Advance reservations can now be made by calling 1-407-WDW-DINE at 180 days in advance.
