Talking WDW ----- Islands of Adventure?

i cant find any maps that will show this (maybe because im a foooool!)
but me and my sisters have been trying to find out just how far Universal Islands of Adventures are from Disneyworld?

We are considering going to both next year, but it all depends on the distance between the two resorts

It's less than 20 mins away by car but here you go:

And so worth the day trip. If you've never been and you have a week or more at WDW, one day is totally worth the sacrifice (for lack of a better term).

A bunch of us from the MiceChat WDW Invasion last October took a day and went to both parks and had a fantastic time! Went on a Wednesday at opening and we were pretty much done doing all the major stuff (including a nice leisurely lunch) by 6pm.

Agreed - Islands of Adventure is a great park! ( And that's coming from a WDWGirl )
I went not long ago with a class field trip, and we arrived at 11 A.M. ( after our scheduled 10A.M. because the driver got lost ) - and left at 7 P.M. My friends and I had a chance to ride EVERYTHING except whatever was in the Seuss land, and had both lunch and dinner, and had time for the ' head checks ' every 2 hours. --- it's a great park that can be done in a day ---
    Definitely try to go

It only takes me about 15 minutes to get from Pop Century to the Universal area. Of course other places on property will take longer, but its not hard to get to at all. Just head down I-4 for a few miles.

I don't know what the blue line is meant to indicate on the Google map in post 3 but it is certainly nowhere near the location of Universal Studios and IOA! Universal is 20 mins to the North and its address is certainly not Kissimmee! We've always gone straight up the I4 from Disney Maingate (International Drive almost runs parallel) then you turn off to the left onto Universal Blvd. (Signposted)
    Here's a much simpler map:

    http://www.orlando-maps.info/top_dow...e_top_down.htm

WDW is bottom left - Universal is top left
