Me too! I wasn't sure how the weather would hold up. I am glad they didn't stop it when it rained.

i just got back from Epcot and the Fireworks was awesome . But the fog from the fireworks blocked the view from the entire World Showcase .

I am kind of surprised they didn't do this in front of the american adventure in epcot, makes more sense than in front of the castle. it's nice to know that even rain can't dampen the spirits of all those new americans. congradulations to all!!!

The weather has been kind of crazy the past few days, so I didn't even bother with heading down for fireworks (I went home not too long after the ceremony).

Someone mentioned the American Adventure - it would be hard to put 1000 new citizens, a few thousand family members, and assorted other onlookers (and the news crew) over in that area of Epcot. Maybe in any area of Epcot. I did like having it in front of Cinderellas Castle.
