I think it's about time they got rid of it.

Agreed. It was nice as a temporary structure for the millennium, but it lost its glory when the "2000" changed to "EPCOT"

^^ That is pretty much the way I feel about it too, good for a temporary addition but long overdue for removal now.

Wehey, I thought I would post in this thread just to be part of the history.

I'm quite happy that the structure is finally coming down, I thought it was a brilliant idea to celebrate the millenium but was completely expecting it to come down once 2000 was out, when it changed to Epcot at first I thought that looks pretty cool until I remembered back to how Space Ship Earth looked a couple of years prior.

Goodbye Wand, you served your purpose well for the millenium and now finally it is your time to go.
