It's entertaining. Not as good as Horizons though.

It's good, not the best but, definately towards the top of the best (current) FW attractions. The main problem right now with it is that it's just so dated! Trebek is still sporting a moustache, Bill Nye is some how relevant, and everybody is dressed in clothes from a decade ago.

It was overall a major improvement from the former UOE but, of course a few good effects were lost in the transition from the original to the current. The most famous being the radock screen. And of course the haunting original song, Energy (You Make the World Go Round!).

I like UOE, I make sure to ride it at least once every trip. If I had to choose it or Horizons, I'd choose Horizons (of course! ). If I had to choose UOE or WOM, I'd choose WOM. If I had to choose UOE or M:S, I'd honestly choose UOE.

It's good, not great, but pretty close!

If you want to find out more about UOE, check out this site: http://www.energy.planet7.org/companion/top/mosaic.htm. It hasn't been updated in a while but, then again, neither has the pavilion itself!

I agree with every comparison here. Perfectly put. But, if I had to chose between UoE and SSE, SSE wins out. Even before the refurb. It's all relative.

    pssst, ridden.
    I don't think I have.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I guess I differ from most of the other folks here...I was quite underwhelmed by it. Overlong, close to no entertainment value, and not all that educational either. For me its a pity they tore down Horizons and not this when building Mission Space.

The original version was just ok to me, and the newer version is just okay to me too. I haven't ridden it since early 2005, so it doesn't matter to me if they keep it or replace it, though it does seem a bit dated.

This is still a very unique ride concept. Still today it runs at top notch. I do think the Ellen and Bill Nye the Science guy addition did make it more entertaining. I still miss the original preshow with the small flipping screens. Another complain though, is the scene with the radio tower, total waste! But overall, it is still a great ride that still has that old EPCOT Center feel.

I agree with the radio tower. Easily the most boring scene. I always try to get the last theater car so I have to wait the least amount of time in there.

I think I rode the original version once and the Ellen version twice. The part with the dinosaurs is cool but the rest is a total snooze-fest. It wouldn't be so bad if the damn thing wasn't so long (it's a 45 minute show)!

I think it is at least worth a once though.

I would go on it more, but Ellen just bugs me, so unless someone I am with wants to go on it, it really does not enter my mind. But it HAS been a while, so now I may go again.
