    Return of Horizons to EPCOT

Who wished they would bring back an updated version of Horizons to EPCOT Center. I always loved that attraction and wish it had never left. I think Mission Space is great but wish they would have built it in another area instead. Just a thought.

I wish it would re-open updated, too. I only ever rode it once, but loved it.

They could build it over at the (disused) Land pavilion.

Don't you mean the Wonders of Life Pavillion?

Yes, I agree. Get rid of the Wonders of Life pavillion and put in Horizons 2. Keep it the same just with updated tech and animatronics.

I think the World of Motion would be nicer. Add Horizons behind the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland, since it's a sequel of sorts anyway.

I never got a chance to ride it.

Yes, i agree it was a real shame to get rid of the most visionary and futuristic ride in "Future World" of EPCOT.

I do think they should make a new Horizons ride

Re: Return of Horizons to EPCOT

Oh man -- I'd LOVE it if Horizons ever returned! Sadly, I don't think such a fantasy will ever come to be reality, though. I was -- and still is -- my favorite EPCOT attraction although Mission: Space is probably my current favorite in the park.

Other than needing some obvious mentions about new technologies on the 'horizon', the one part that I'd like to specifically see really upgraded would be the Land, Sea and Space footage.

I definitely would want the orange grove part to return for that yummy orange smell alone.

Re: Return of Horizons to EPCOT

I've never had the chance to visit EPCOT, but from videos, audio, pictures, and just general word, it appears to be one of the most complex and immersing rides ever created, and for whatever reason it's a shame it doesn't exist anymore. It took every one of the themes of Future World and put in one ride. So I would think this would be a good ride to have (back...)

Re: Return of Horizons to EPCOT

Horizons was nice and all but I honestly have no desire for it to return. The only two parts of the ride I consider memorable were the Citrus smell & the choose-the-ending. Quite frankly, I thought its building was just downright ugly and bulky and seemed so out of place with the other FW designs. To me, M:S is a much better alternative. But yes, that is just my opinion.

I agree on rather having a new World of Motion at Epcot, since the original WoM was always more fun to me than Horizons was. R.I.P. Horizons
