Family Magic Tour

Has anyone ever done the family magic tour? Just curious to see if this is a good family activity! It says in the description there is a lot of character interaction?!?! Also do they do the tours the week between Christmas and New Years?

I think I read a review on this tour on another website, but can't remember which at this time. I think the family had a great time, especially the kids.
