I've seen elsewhere that they recently registered for "ceiling/roof work" on the ABC Theater building. Also, there has been rumblings that the Aladdin show at DCA is getting replaced.
Could Aladdin be coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios?

IT was reported somewhere on here a few months ago that a new show was being planned for abc theater. as for sounds dangerous... drew may be taking over bob barker's role but ellen has had her own talkshow for how many years now and she is still in energy. and the reason the children's concerts are in a tent this year is that there isn't enough room in abc studio and sound stage one is blocked off because of work on pixar place.
Considering Aladdin is one of the only reasons to go to DCA, they better come up with a great replacement for it. Knowing our luck we will get Home on the Range: A Musical Spectacular on Ice.
The Playhouse Disney Concert Series is not being held this year in the ABC Theater because there is not enough space in there and the shows have bacome extremely popular.
As for the ABC theater, The building itself is not going anywhere. I beleive that the High School Musical franchise will have a new show in there, thus replacing the pep rally that they are currently doing. Most of this will probably happen in the spring when they bring out the the Block Party Bash that is also replacing the Stars and Motorcars Parade.
Color Purple has been running on Broadway for years already and Sister Act, with music by Alan Menken, should be arriving in the 2008-2009 season (NO JOKE!).
Now that you mention it, I think I do vaguely remember hearing that Sister Act was coming to Broadway. Now just combine it with the other two, and you'll have the perfect Disney - Whoopi attraction.
