Goodbye, Me Bizarro is not Monkey Joe. Me Bizarro hates Disney parks so much.Hello

The only way to revive Roger Rabbit is to get Spielberg on board. And I would suggest the best way to do that is to impress him with what they do to refresh/enhance the Lucasfilm properties in the parks (Star Wars and Indy), especially since Spielberg is the director of Indy 4, due in theaters May 2008. Beyond that, they should pitch some new ideas for Roger Rabbit animated shorts, especially since Lasseter is committed to reviving that aspect of the studio.

^^No, Amblin is still an active production company and Spielberg does use it. Dreamworks and Amblin are two separate things, and Amblin did not go away when Spielberg co-founded Dreamworks. The recent Fox tv flop, "On the Lot" was an Amblin Television production.
Regardless, the only relevance of this point to this thread is that Spielberg retains whatever rights he has over Roger Rabbit.

Isn't it funny that an elaborate dark ride can continue on while a cotton costume has to be banished?

I have been screaming out for the return of Roger to the parks for ages! While recently at DLP, I spotted some new Roger merchandise (not enough to get excited about) but the fact that their WDS has a 'Toon Studios' with no sign of Mr Rabbit is preposterous!
WDW - 1987 & 1991
DLP - 1996, 2004, 2006 & 2007
DLR - October 2011
I saw an awesome Jessica (Rabbit's) Island Tours T-shirt the other day, think I'll buy it next time I'm there
