I think it comes down to personal preference and which style appeals to you most. I would suggest deciding if you would prefer staying in a deluxe or moderate first. Then you should check www.allearsnet.com to look at photos of the different hotels/rooms/grounds, to see which suits you best. Good luck!

    Re: Which hotel?

From your list above, here is my order of preference:

    • Beach Club - Great location. Great hotel.
    • Yacht Club - Very good location. Kinda big.
    • Boardwalk Inn - Very good location. Kinda noisy.
    • Saratoga Springs - Great amenities. Okay location.
    • Port Orleans - RS - Very good location. Super ambiance.
    • Port Orleans - FQ - Very good location. Smaller Resort.
    • Caribbean Beach - Okay location. Okay ambiance
    Your opinions may vary.

My personal favorite out of those choices is the Yacht Club Resort. It feels more elegant and upscale than the Beach Club, and I like the decor and color scheme better. Also, I've noticed that the rooms at the Yacht Club offer larger balconies than the rooms at the Beach Club.

I've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. I liked them both.

My favorite is the Boardwalk Inn (quiets down early, I'm a late riser so it doesn't bother me) then the Yacht Club and lastly Beach club. All 3 are in a great location and are extremely close to EPCOT and the Studios. With the hotels and the Boardwalk itself there are many great places to eat.

I had a great experience at PO - French Quarter, I would recommend it to anyone.

Boardwalk has boat service to Epcot and Studios. I believe Yacht and Beach does too.

    They do.

But it's quicker to walk to Epcot.

That is exactly what I was going to add.

I know that sometimes transportation to MK and DAK take some time from these resorts since they are a bit further away, especially from DAK.

Personally I LOVE the Boardwalk! Everytime we go there at night or even drive by it I say that I want to live there. But then I say that about the Poly too, but the Poly is my "winter" home and the Boardwalk is my "summer" home. It just shows how much I love those resorts though. Beach Club is also great.

    • Y&B Club and Boardwalk are all very close to Epcot and the International Gateway. They also have a fun little pool.
    • Saratoga Springs and both Port Orleans are close to DTD.
    • French Quarter is smaller than Riverside so your distance to the food location/bus stop might be longer if you stay at Riverside. (But that could be the same at other places as well.)
