December 07 Trip

Hmm. I've talked to my Dad, and he says even though it will be my only gift for the year, he says that if we were to have enough money by the date, that the family (Me, him, his gf ((parents are split up)), her son, her daughters, and maybe my sister) would head out in December. I've heard the best time in December to go is at the beginning before the Christmas holidays. Is this true? And will anyone else be there, and what should I know about WDW in December? (But the winter won't stop me from getting on Splash Mountain)

I am going to Disney World from December the 5th until the 11th. I have never been at the time of the year. I am excited to see the Christmas stuff.

14th through 23rd (that is if Mom's threat is an empty one; arguments suck)

And yes, my only gift, pretty much (except from my grandmother, you know how they are)

Thats a great time to go, crowds are relatively light and the Christmas decorations will be out and Mickey's Christmas Party is in full swing at least one or two nights each week.

My advice is don't forget to visit the resorts as well as the parks, each resort does something special for Christmas. The Grand Floridian for example usually builds a house made of gingerbread and cast members sell baked goods out of it, culinary dioramas at most of the nice eateries wil be on display. WDW at Christmas is one of the most magical times to visit.

it shouldn't be too cold for splash mountain. however, it can get chilly so pack accordingly!
