You know the more you and I talk, the more I'm thinking I should check my photos, it sounds like you might be in some of them. LOL

We seemed to be in the same places around the same times that day.

A couple of months ago, I had a guy who sent me a photo of ME taking a photo of the Muppet Mobile Lab. He didn't even know who I was, but he checked his photos when he saw he'd been there at the same time as me.

Mifune restaurant in San Francisco's Japantown uses the bullet train serving dish for the kid's meal. Very popular.

Denise, you are THE SOURCE! Whenever we need information, you are the "go to" gal! Your reviews and pics are wonderfully informative. I'm just gonna think of you as THE SOURCE from now on!

I was starting to think that there was some new lingo I didn't know! (and then it was like, maybe I shouldn't ask, just in case the sentence wouldn't end well!)

Oh good, it's something nice! Thank you very much. I don't think I'm really THE source, I know others around here who know much more than I do. But I try to take good pics, anyway!

Take a look

6 people - 3 guys, 3 girls. One of the guys in a blue shirt is almost mutantly tall - that would be me

Teppan Edo is very similar to Teppanyaki, I am looking forward to going back again.

And thank you Dusty Sage, I hope you enjoy it! I expect I'll see you for at least a couple of Mice Chat meets.

I hadnt been to this restaurant since they stopped including the soup/salad with the meal and was very surprised when that portion of the meal didnt come out (especially since every other teppanyaki restaurant Ive ever been to includes that portion). And at that price point I kind of felt ripped off. I paid $29 of steak/shrimp. if I wanted the soup/salad i would have ended up paying $36.50. Lame. The food was good but not great. the chefs performance was medicore and is the same every time. We sat there for 20 mins and watched the chef next to us do the same exact thing that our chef did when he finally came out. I'll prob pass on dining at Teppan Edo next time. The refurb looks really good though.

Re: Teppan Edo Review/Photos

The salad is much nicer than it used to be, the salad used to be sort of small and barely worth having (IMHO). I am not saying it's cheap to eat there, it isn't - just like most anywhere else on property. When we went to Morocco for the Candelight, we had a meal that would have cost $100 or so for very little. I think Japan has a better meal for the money. Our chef was excellent - which would make a difference in the meal. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it!
