Howdy.


Hello. I just got back from my first Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I am exhausted, so I am only going to post one picture now. The rest will come tomorrow. The update will be big. I took 785 pictures, and a few turned out OK.

Here is a quick preview -

Most of the trees had colored lights on them. It was a nice effect.




If you zoom in on the next three pictures you can see that they have already completed stringing lights for the snow/ice effect.















The next few pictures are from the Disney Villians show.





































There wasn't too much to the show, but afterwards they come down and mingle with the crowd, so if you like characters this is a potentially good photo op.

It's so nice to see a cast member who enjoys their role. This pic makes me smile. I originally took the pic because I loved the costumes. I am really pleased with the cast member's pose.



I have to stop for a minute. Still lots more to come.

Very nice so far.

If you look closely in this picture, you can see a security camera. I have seen objects that look like cameras before on the castle but have never had a great view. I wonder what they are used for.
And yes, the strings of ordinary christmas lights are visible.

This picture is actually of the reflection the boat and dock make off of the water. It has been rotated 180 degrees. I thought I could create a ghost ship type of effect because of the movememnt of the water, but it did not work out too well.










The next few pictures are all basically the same thing. I posted different exposures for different tastes.

























If you compare this picture with the one I took on May 19th at Disneyland you will notice the sky is much blacker. It just goes to show you how much more light pollution there is in LA.














When you take a picture using long exposures, people will usually disappear, as long as they keep walking. In this pic you don't see people, but you can see that they had some sort of glow thing. It's slightly amusing.






































































I was in the middle of yet another long exposure and this couple just stopped in front of my camera. I thought this would be a ruined picture, but, it actually turned out.

So, here we have a resident ghost and his ghoulfriend as they stop to pose for all of the Mice Chatters.





I too hung around, just long enough to take this pic.





They turned off the fog machine at 11:45. If the park is open until midnight, the show should continue until midnight.





I was leaving the park and I noticed this photo spot in Fantasyland.




OK. That's it for this post. I will go back again on the 2nd, there are alot of photos I missed, including the parade and the Main Street, U.S.A lighting.

Not to come off as completey ungrateful because I really loved the photos and your keen eye on what to capture... just hoping you have pictures of the Halloween parade and/or if you're going to focus on that come the 2nd.
