Thanks!, I'm still playing with the manual functions on the camera (digital is different than film cameras, but I love my S2!). I used to do night photography at Disney back in 1998 or so, and then set aside my camera for 6 or so years until now.

Thanks for posting your picture of the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT. It is really nice.

I went to the park about a month ago expecting to take some decent night shots, but I did not think anything looked interesting or that it would turn out, so I did not even try. It was also raining - a really annoying mist, so that is another reason I did not take any pictures.

Well, your picture proved me wrong and has re-inspired me to go back and try again.

I actually wouldn't mind taking photos in the rain, except that my camera then stops working.

Back around 1998, I had a website with nighttime shots around WDW. If I'm looking, I can notice things anywhere, and Disney has a lot of lovely architecture and flowers and such. I don't have as good a zoom as I once had, and I don't have a cable release - so I'm a bit more limited now. But all that aside, I love my camera and I think if you think creatively, it's easy to find inspiration.

The way I see things changes when I have a camera. It's actually kind of cool, I didn't take many photos from 1999 until this past year, so I'm really taking photography up all over again. I didn't realize how much I missed it.

Also - many people take photos straight on. I will see flowers on the ground, and will get down there to get the shot I want. That is where I was for at least one of the Canada shots, this one:



I wish the flower pot was moveable, though - I'd have temporarily relocated it.

And while other people often take the straight-on photos, I'll also find reflections, etc. I like to see things different. Some of my favorite photos this year, mostly evening or night shots:













Anyway, I'm not a photographer, but I do see lots at Disney to photograph.
