I don't know about that. They specifically said no flash pictures or video with the lighting. Or it may have been no video at all. I had several CM's walk by me, and I was right next to an aisle. If I wasn't supposed to, they would have told me. and I didn't use flash so I think I was ok.

I have the Canon Digital Rebel XT which I love! Some of the pictures are from my point and shoot, but for the most part I used my SLR. The new lens I just got worked really well and I didn't need to keep changing lenses.

I'll be posting more pictures soon. I'm enjoying Disneyland for a few days. 9 straight days of Disney. Reality is going to hit hard.

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Sorry, didn't see the second question. It was some of my epcot pictures and when I get around to posting Universal and Islands of Adventure those are my point and shoot. My point and shoot was better before it went in to be fixed, it is the Canon S3 IS. I would recommend the camera Mousercise and Dusty have, it seems to work better for all applications without having to make as many adjustments to get it to do what you want.

Though not a Disney Park - just a few pictures from Universal and Islands of Adventure

I don't know what I was expecting from the park, but it wasn't this. Islands of Adventure more than exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful

Such amazing theming. And I found it pretty easy to get around.

    Spiderman was pretty awesome

My favorite Island would be the Seuss Island. I love those books, and I kept singing the Seussical music in my head.

    Horton the Elephant

'I just have to save them, because after all, a persons a person, no matter how small.'

'but on the other side of town, the truffula trees were all chopped down. they once stool tall in all their glory, but that's another story'

    Catching a ride

    One of my favorite lines

    Lunch

Dueling Dragons! I love Roller Coasters!

How I feel every day while at work, which is where I am now and must get back to 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow'

I know there was one thing I respected about this park. They put a ride seat outside the ride so anyone who wants to can try out the seat before entering the line. Being somewhat short and smallish myself I couldn't comment on the size of the seats for everyone.

Great TR so far. Glad you enjoyed Universal. I wish more people would take a day away from Disney to enjoy these awesome parks.

As for the coasters: The two main coasters at IOA are B&M coasters, and most trains will have what we coaster freaks call a "Big Boy Seat". Meaning there is usually at least 1 seat on any given train that is a little bigger for those that may be needing some extra room.

And as Butterflylark said, most rides at Universal have a "Test Seat" so you can make sure you fit before waiting in the line.

But even though Hulk and Dragons may be themed, they are NOT Disney Coasters. They are much more intense than ANYTHING Disney has to offer.

I have a Canon Powershot SD900. It's been a great little camera for me Only thing is it doesn't have IS.

You will have so much fun at IOA it is a great park. Very glad I took the time to visit it even if it meant a day away from Disney.

Re: Butterflylark's WDW Invasion - First Timer - Trip Report

Day - well I don't remember. It was Animal Kingdom and MGM Day. The day after Universal. Does that make it Thursday, I think so.

Mousercise, Coheteboy and I decided to spend our morning in Animal Kingdom to try to get onto the Safari. I also wanted to check out the tree of life.

This park is just so pretty!

Pal Mickey and I danced around while we waited for Coheteboy to get us fast passes for the Safari

    Ooo Fast Pass!

    Time to see more animals!

The friends of Animals were there to greet us, along with some animals themselves.

    BLUE FROG!!

    I touched a snake!

    SIMBA

    uh-oh

    The Tree

This is quite possibly my favorite little detail in the park. I had no idea what it was, I thought it was just decoration. Pal Mickey explained. This is a wish tree, you make a wish by tying a ribbon to the branch. When your wish comes true you tie on a bell.

Isn't that just neat. Thank you Pal Mickey!

    Kali River Rapids

    Chewbacca!

    Kitty kitty

A really nice Cast Member saw us taking pictures of the walls, and the neat buildings and she asked if I knew about Hidden Mickey's. I told her I did. So she pointed one out to me.
    Can you find it?

    How about now?

Cheeful Mickey was wishing us a good day. Because the weather was cooler, the animals were more active the helpful cast member told me. Sounds like it's time for the Safari!
