Day 1 The Magic Kingdom
(I decided to add a commentary)
While some napped I ventured out on my own for my first sights of the Magic Kingdom
I could hear the music for the castle show as I entered the park and hurried through main street.
I must say I loved the little show, but that's me. I love shows and parades! I would have watched this again from the begining if only there had been a couple more days.
After the show turned around and headed towards the sign that said Liberty Square, that was new and I wanted to explore.
Somehow without realizing it I ended up in line for the Haunted Mansion
I loved the room with the stairs. Very cool effect.
Since I refused to carry a map, I kept walking and ended up in Frontierland and caught Woody's Cowboy Camp. More singing and dancing. This is my lucky day!
Where to next?
At this point Big Thunder Mountain was down for a little R and R so I rode splash jumped the train to Toontown to connect to Tomorrowland then raced back to join Mousercise at the Country Bear Jamboree
We walked through to Fantasyland and made our next stop in the small world
In tomorrowland Mousersice picked up a FP for Space and we rode the 'TTA' or peoplemover.
The No-So-Spacey-Mountain
There was the 1pm meet where our group grew to four members and we treked out again with Coheteboy and Jeff joining us, or we joined them, however you look at it.
At some point while we were in the hall of presidents, it rained. We stayed dry and listened to Pal Mickey.
PIRATES!!! These don't sing though. And we were too excited to be heading towards the Tiki Room to stop for long. I have no idea why they were out.
