Beach Club or Yacht Club

We are planning a trip in May 2006, and we have stayed in the Beach Club, but we were wondering in the Yacht Club is any better.

Same place. Different theming. I like the darker furniture and more refined look of the YC.

Re: Beach Club or Yacht Club

My brothers and I stayed at the beach club this past december. We enjoyed it thouroughly. everything about it waqs top notch. the rooms were plenty big. we didnt have a single complaint... well, except the main pool was half closed for repairs (but we just sat in the other spas. we didnt even want to go swimming) and the food places close early (were night owls). the location was great. We liked looking out our window to see the white sand beach, the light house and the boardwalk. at night it was even more spectacular sight and we could even see (and definetly hear) the fireworks from epcot. I was fun taking the different transportation routes to the different parks. we walked to epcot took the boat to mgm and the bus to the other destinations. i highly reccommend this hotel.
the yacht club on the other hand seems almost identical... but more expensive, but i dont know why. if you ask me it seemed too ritzy. the people a little too snobby. there was and arougance in the air when we walked through. for the extra money im not sure what you get? If i wasnt completly satisfied with the beach club id say go for it but it lived up to and surpassed many of my expectations. if your looking for a different hotel id say look beyond the yacht club.
