    Edible displays in WDW

Does anyone have a list of edible holiday displays this year at WDW? I haven't read confirmation on anything except the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. I am planning our family trip for Dec 1-8 and want to make sure we visit all of them!

    Thanks

I am not sure that any of them are truly edible, but the counter service at the AA has a gingerbread display.

I wasnt quite sure what they are called, but I think you got the just of my question. I'm referring to the sugar and baked creation displays at many of the deluxe resorts. You did mention one that I did not know about though, Thank you!

These are the ones that I saw last year:
    Gingerbread House at Grand Floridian
    Display in the Contemporary
    Display in the Boardwalk

Add to that the one at the AA restaurant in Epcot
    Any others?

I read about a display at the Polynesian in prior years but I dont think they did one last year or I couldn't find it. That's why I was asking for confirmation that they are there this year.

Also do the designs change or do they create the same display each year? We enjoyed them looking at them last year and were hoping to see something different this year.

    Thanks

I haven't been to many of the resorts yet this year. The Wilderness Lodge stopped doing theirs a number of years ago. The one at the AA is the same as usual.

In 2005 the Animal Kingdom lodge had one. It was a village looking thing....
I have seen a show on the food network before talking about all of these, you may want to look and see if it will be playing anytime soon?!?!?

    Re: Edible displays in WDW-update

Hi everyone, I just returned from WDW and thought I would update my post with answers. I can confirm the displays at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Liberty Inn at Epcot and Beach Club. The one in the Contemporary is in the center of the third floor concourse and is smaller than in 2006. It was on the first floor lobby in a bigger area last year. I didnt get a chance to check the Boardwalk and Animal Kingdom.

The displays are pretty much the same as last year. They use the same basic design and only changed the colors/placement and flower designs. Of course the hidden mickeys are in different places. Even though the overall look is the same, it is still worth the trip to take a look at these wonderful creations.

The Polynesian does not have a display but they do have some small gingerbread houses that are on display. Apparently they had a cast member gingerbread house competition. Some of them are fabulous.

I had a great time there last week. They had temps in the 80's and I got a sunburn! They had some unseasonably warm weather there last week. Have a very Happy Holidays!

    Re: Edible displays in WDW

Not sure how I missed this thread earlier. But I was at WDW from the 27th-4th and stopped by all the gingerbread displays that I know of. Although I did not get to the one in the American pavilion at Epcot, actually I didn't get to spend as much time at World Showcase as I hoped.

There was not one at Animal Kingdom Lodge this year, Contemporary's was very similar to previous years Pinocchio and Gephetto display, just on a smalller scale. Grand Floridians was same as it has been in past years in the GF lobby. Boardwalk had a new display with Donald and Daisy instead of Mickey and Minnie. Beach Club had the chocolate and gingerbread carosel again which is a combined efford from the Yacht and Beach club bakery. And the Yacht club had the most fabulous Christmas Village/train display with Department 56 I have every seen, which included many of the same village pieces I have.
