Question If you could build one new Classic Attraction in MK....

What would you build.. Note this is original new classic.. Not built anywhere else... Disney has a big catalog of animated movies that have not been done yet have potential.. They have land to do this in Fantasyland behind the new meet & greet under construction over the former lagoon...

I would love to see a original ride that would draw people to WDW and not be copied at DL.. like they have Matterhorn and no one else does...

Okies. Does it have to be on the ex-20,000 land?

I've been wanting a Beauty and the Beast dark ride in Fantasy Land for years. It'd be like Snow White/Peter Pan, but infinitely better because it is BatB. As for the design? I'm not entirely sure. It'd start off with the prologue and the beautiful real stained glass and end with that. It'd take you through the story. The "Be Our Guest" segment would be 4D with water, bubbles, smells, air blasts for effects. The Ballroom would be mirrored like Hall of Mirrors in the palace of Versailles; and your omnimover ride vehicle would do a 360.

    Yeah I can dream...

I'm an adult without children, and Belle's story time is not my speed.

The Skyway ride. For extra thrills, the buckets would actually tip you over upside down now and them, so harnesses would be required. hee hee

Re-theme the Fantasmic show at MGM, create a whole new show that is even more amazing, and build Fantasmic Mountain in the lagoon space. I can imagine it now.....
    FANTASMIC: RIDE THE SHOW

Dark, chilling music that changes to fit the film that each of the villain's originate from, in a ride that uses the Indy/Dinosaur engine, with 4D interactions like the Mummy at Universal. Breath-taking. The Magic Kingdon wouldn't need another E-ticket for decades after this one.

I would love to see a ride based (sorry to say this for those who hate Pixar) the Closet Door scene in Monsters Inc. The one where Sulley, Mike and Boo are going around the warehouse on the closet door roller coaster. I think that would be an awesome ride.

I agree with figment1986 that there are many animated films that could be done:

    1) Little Mermaid ride, featuring a boat ride "under the sea" would be great. I think it could be as fun as PoC.

    2) Cave of Wonders -- I think a magic carpet ride through the cave and all over the world would be fantastic.

    3) Be Our Guest Restaurant -- I think it would be fun to have a castle with a restaurant inside with animated clocks and candlesticks. It could be as fun as the Rainforest Cafe. Of course the exterior would look like the Beast's castle.

    4) Tarzan swing through the Jungle -- Have you ever wanted to swing through the jungle like Tarzan. I know I did when I was a little boy. I think it would be great to have a ride that somehow simulated the experience. The ride vehicle would sway side to side as it went through the sets.

Those are a few of my ideas.

I would like a ride about one of the films after Lion King. Perhaps a Hunchback ride, or one with Rutt and Tuke. I also think a new ride themed to the mine train scene in Home on the Range would be cool. Or maybe even a ride through the underworld with Hades.

FYI.... The Matterhorn was planned for TDL back in the early 80's and even appeared as a "Coming Attraction" in the press kit handed to the press members during TDL's 5th Anniversary press event. I have a copy of such press kit at home... A treasured memento. Too bad it never came to be.

I'd love to see the mine train ride brought back, the Sky way to0. Maybe we could put both of them together and call it the "Sky Train".
