Not to beat a soon-to-be dead horse but, that second half seems like it wasn't fully thought out. I love that it's interactive but, the fact that there's no scenery makes it appear as though it was a cheap cop-out by WDI. With all the other stellar work in the ride, I would be highly surprised if this truely all they intend for this area. By no mean did I think the '94 version ending was perfect (a floating classroom, WTF?), but, I was hoping for more after how much more the did to the rest of the ride. Overall though, just from the video alone, it looks 10X better.

Yeah, you can see the exact point where the money ran out!
Got to hope that those rumours are true about some hidden scenes or at the VERY, VERY least, hidden effects.
........not to take away from the first half which, as far as I'm concerned, from only watching a video, is the pinnacle of Imagineering. They've improved on perfection. Incredible, incredible first half. The absolute essence of Disney theme parks.
I was awe-struck. The most impressed I've ever been with a 'new' attraction.
Wonderful, wonderful job on the ascent.
.......all of which means that the descent is one horse which needs to be beaten long after death.
