I haven't put these up on my site yet, I'm not sure I will. I'm thinking they won't be interesting enough to many people. But I figured someone might enjoy them.
We went to the Candlelight yesterday - brrrr! Dinner was at Morocco, which I was looking forward to. Though I actually prefer the food in the fast food Tangerine Cafe better, and it's cheaper.
I have never had a meat pastry with powdered sugar before. It wasn't bad, just different! For dinner, I had the shish kebab, which was a little overcooked - again, not bad. I should have asked for cous-cous instead of the yellow rice.
The Baklava sampler plate was VERY small. 3 bite size pieces. I have no problem with it being small, but it's not much value for the price.
Me warm (what is not shown is all the powdered sugar that I got on my sleeves) :
Me outside and cold (the first really cold night of the season):
Andie McDowell was good, though my favorite narrator is still Gary Sinise. I thought it was funny when she said "I still don't know how I got this job".
"My death stare, let me show you it!":
It was pretty empty around World Showcase by the time the fireworks started. I didn't have my regular tripod, I had my tiny one on a trash can - but some guy kept getting in front of me.
Brrrrrr! The main thing that was irritating was that we got in line over an hour early - and a lot of people in front of us saved places. Another lady was on the phone, saying that she'd save her friends on the standby line some seats "if they got in". But there were fun people on line that we got to talk to as well. I still enjoy the Candelight Processional very much, but I really liked when they had the extras - the shopping discount, lanyard, pin, etc.
I have a hard time getting the night pics at the Candelight. Maybe my new S5 (well, new to me next week!) will help.
