How long did they let you wander the park after it closed? Did they make you go inside at a certain time? When is the check-out time?

Hi Matt!

I am thrilled that I can share photos with everyone, I have no idea how many will visit for the pics (but probably several thousand, which is nice!)

We were allowed to stay out until the last guests were out of the park. I think that we were actually outside Cinderellas castle after the park completely cleared, I'm not sure how long it would have been until we HAD to go inside - probably within minutes. One of my family members wanted to go in, and we did.

A security guard had come up to us at one point, which is why I think the park had been cleared (our guest service/VIP guide told him who we were).

I hope you liked the pics, the evening went very fast! Can you imagine the family tonight, on Christmas eve?

Oh - and it's not like I could wander off myself, taking pics. Everyone pretty much stayed together the whole time.

The bed was a little firm for me, they need some Westin Heavenly Beds! It was a very nice evening, though. I got my sleep once I got home. I am glad you enjoyed the pics. :-D

Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed them!!!! I just had one chance to get some photos, so I'm glad they seem to be detailed enough. The suite really is gorgeous, and especially with the Christmas tree.

Yes, definitely lucky! When we were being directed into Philharmagic by our guide (he brought us to the front, special access), some people called us VIP's. I'm like, no - we are "lucky nobody's"!

Denise, thanks for getting your pictures up so quickly! I know it must have been challenging with Christmas and everything happening at the same time. LOL! Anyway, I LOVE all the photos and your thoroughness in documenting it all. OMG...the white chocolate horse and carriage. I think I would have had a difficult time keeping my hands off that. Me too.

I can't even imagine if my parents had been there alone (without my BIL to say "go ahead"). I'd have gotten a call LATER, saying how they turned down some castle prize.

I can't IMAGINE how cool it would be to spend the night in the castle. I wonder if they would consider busting guests out of there for a late night "here's what wdw looks like after hours" tour. You are welcome! It is nice being able to post some larger photos here for everyone.

We did a partial KTTK tour after the park closed, so it was really nice being in the tunnels when not too many people were around. By the time we got up from there, the last guests appeared to have left. I can't believe it happened, and it's amazing to think that we were actually sleeping in the park, in the castle - what are the odds?

I am delighted I was able to get photos, you can't do something like that and not share it. If it was my dream, I'd probably have taken photos all night. The park was foggy and beautiful! (I do actually like fog, unless I'm driving in it). And I would have been perfectly happy to wander around the park for a couple of more hours! I'm glad the park was open late. If it was only until 9pm, we might have had to get back by 10:30 or 11. As it was, we ended up back in the room around 12:45.

I was going to put up pics of how the white chocolate carriage looked today after we started in on it, but I've been having problems uploading everything (but tomorrow, hopefully!) The horses were solid, not hollow - very heavy.
