My Year in Photos, by Denise (photo heavy)

For anyone reading - I have more pictures on pages 3 and 4.

Okay, it's not a full year - I didn't know what Photobucket was until...oh, March or April! But that is fine, my photos from way early in the year were terrible as I got the hang of my new S2! And I have like 15k photos, so I'm skipping a lot. But it was a really good year at WDW (DL, and elsewhere!)

I thought about doing a "Year in Review" on my site - but I think it's better just to do it here. The photos will be different sizes and such, I am just pulling off my favorites from Photobucket. Many of these haven't been posted on Micechat before. I made more of the pics from earlier in the year, since I'd not posted here then.

Still I'm nahtaphotographer, I just enjoy taking photos. I hope you enjoy them. I probably will add a few more today too, I need to go through my photos (I have too many!) I need to take a few less pics this year, do more walking!


The Pirates and Princess Party started in February:

I went to Europe for a solo trip in April/May, and stopped for the day at DLP:




















I had a "hidden Mickey" in my meal at the Bed and Breakfast in London:

Stayed 11 nights at the Pop Century in September/October, taking some nights pics and doing my Pop Century walk:









I started a sunset Polynesian/GF walk that I haven't yet finished in photos:





I met up with a lot of nice Micechatters!:





I took these at the same day (on Halloween!):









Christmas, Super Soap Weekends, lots going on over November:

Thanks! I have been trying to edit them to two posts, but it keeps locking up my computer. I'm sorry if it's too big on one post!

I didn't start really posting here until around July/August, so I thought it would be interesting to post some of my "older" pics too! I wanted to do a full retrospective (if that is the right word), but like I said - lazy, lazy!

Thanks for taking the time to give us your Year in Review. I can imagine how much work it must have been to winnow though all of your great photos. I especially appreciate your ability to capture the little things like the ladybugs.

I actually deleted a LOT off of Photobucket recently, so I had to go get some of those photos again. (I do recommend the BTS tour, if you ever get the chance!) I am glad you enjoyed them, I am glad I'll get to see you in a few days!!!!

Oh - one of my favorite events to take photos of this year was Star Wars Weekends. The walk-about characters were GREAT! People were really respectful and orderly overall as well - as far as getting their autographs, seats for the show, etc.

I have never seen one for sale. But I would love to have one, I would actually eat out of it at home. I should ask next time I'm there.

Ohhh that's a great post, I hope it becomes a month tradition, A look back at Februrary and so forth... Would love to see the months through your camera lens if possible.

I wouldn't want to bore anyone! Some months are probably very uninteresting. I am happy that you liked these, though. I probably have 30 or 40 here out of 15k, I grabbed 6 or so Star Wars Weekend pics out of 600. It's hard to choose!

I have a couple of hundred or so of Disneyland, but not nearly as many as I wanted (it was very crowded, and I wasn't there long). I also have pics of my Universal Backstage tour, which was WONDERFUL!!! Here are my threads:

I'll see if there is anything else interesting in my photos too. I started out just doing photo walks, then had requests for construction projects ("Denise, while you are there, can you take xxxx)... Then events and other stuff. I was more planning for a fitness site, not a photo site!
