    Favorite On-Property Disney Restaurant?

Someone asked a few days back what the favorite off-site restaurants are (mine was Sam Seltzers, they make a very nice steak dinner for small $$)

For onsite, I'm a HUGE fan of Trails End. If I'm in the MK, I prefer getting a boat to Fort Wilderness for lunch - as opposed to eating in the MK. (not during the +5.00 buffet charge time, though). If I was going to spend a little more, I like Teppan Edo.

Trails End has always been consistent and affordable.

For counter service - my favorite is DisneyQuest (Cheesecake Factory Express). Most of my favorite counter service restaurants are at Downtown Disney.

My favorite snack at a counter service restaurant - cous cous at the Tangerine Cafe. I also like the Spoodles pizza window.

I've been told I have "pedestrian" tastes. I don't go fancy too often, the only meal that has really bowled me over the last few years has been at Harvey's Bistro (off property, Lake Mary). Very different! I'd like to try Fresh at the Dolphin sometime.

Sit Down Restaurant: Le Cellier. Best all around experience at any restaurant while we were there in November.

Counter Service: Flame Tree BBQ. You get so much good food for such a great value.

    Snack: The Boulangerie. Anything there.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

Le Cellier was a favorite of mine for a very long time, but I had two disappointing meals there in September. I will wait a while before going back. Flame Tree is great, and definitely a beautiful setting.

Sit Down: 'Ohana. I just love it. The Atmosphere, the food, the fun and the booze.
Honorable mentions go to Biergarten, Rose and Crown, 50's Prime Time, Sci-Fi and Yakatori House.

Buffet: It's a total toss up between Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree (although not "technically" a Buffet). Both have great food and characters. Haven't tried the one in AKL yet though.

Counter Service: Harbor House, Pecos Bills, Flame Tree and the one in The Land for Breakfast are my fav's. I've never had a counter service meal at MGM.

My favorite place in the parks to eat generally have more to do with the experience and the ambiance than the actual meals.

Tony's in the Magic Kingdom is my absolute favorite. Once every trip, we're sure to eat lunch at Tony's out on the patio. It's such a great, but relaxing, place to enjoy peolpe entering the park, characters interacting (Pinoccio, Honest John, and Gideon are usually right nearby), and the occasional passing streetcar. It's often a highlight of the trip for us.

Prime Time Cafe is another favorite. We've had some great interactions with castmembers there.

Sit down: I've only been to a few but I liked 50's Prime Time & Chefs de France a lot.

Counter service: Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck Express, Sunshine Seasons, Cantina de San Angel, Pecos Bill's, Pizza Planet.

Buffet: I've only been to the Crystal Palace.

Snacks: Sunshine Tree Terrace, any churro cart... and you can't beat the Figaro Fries at Pinocchio Village Haus.

    Steak and fine dining.

I used to love Ohana as well, but I've not been in maybe 2 years. At the time, they were making a few changes to the menu that I didn't like as much. (scalloped potatoes instead of rice, no pineapple). I had made a res for this past September on free dine, but DH decided last-minute not to come. Ohana is one of the few restaurants I prefer company at. So - I went to Trails End.

Sit down: Le Cellier - If you like steak, you MUST eat here.

Buffet: Crystal Palace - Lunch - The cheesy pasta is sooooo sinful but good.
Boma - Breakfast - Hands down the best breakfast buffet I've ever had.

Snack: Churros or Turkey Legs from any of their respective carts. LOL

Counter service: Sunshine Seasons - LOVE their roasted chicken and potatoes.
Pinocchios Village Haus - For no other reason than Figaro Fries, if you haven't had them, they are a tradition with a lot of the WDW meets if the meet is held at MK. :P

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
