Just to let everyone know, I just got home from spending the day at the Magic Kingdom today. It was probably just as crowded as the holidays. Just to forewarn anyone going this weekend, some kind of national high school cheerleading competition is going on this weekend and it's inundated with teams. Also it would seem that tons of people from Louisiana are there also because schools are out for mardi gras. I spent this past week at disneyworld and it was pretty crowded all week. I've actually never seen it this busy at the beginning of february. Normally it's pretty quiet from beginning of the new year until spring break.

When I stopped by the CBR to take photos, there were squads of loud cheerleaders (I'm glad I wasn't staying there!)

Oh no! I'm going with a friend from Ohio tomorrow for four days. Let's hope they're all busy with competitions during the week or traveling back to wherever they came from.

We went this time last year and had the parks to ourselves.

It is beginning to look like WDW is "Peak Season" year round!!!

It would seem that Peak season is year round. Only a few more weeks until spring break and that lasts for two months. Normally my family and I will stay in the middle of January but this year worked out for the beginning of February. No matter though. I only live an hour away so if I go out for the day and it's too crowded we can always leave. It just sucks when it's crowded and we're staying on property.

I know that yesterday my friend who works for Iron Mountain told me that they were bussing 1501 Iron Mountain employees to Epcot to enjoy the park for a few hours...

Yes, fantastic - thanks! The photos I'll put up are more tour related, but I do plan to get a Universal pass in the next few months and start walk pics there.

Universal wasn't too bad as far as crowds, but we were taken in through the back door of everything, and got to visit backstage in a few areas (like Spiderman).

I know you wrote, I will get back to you soon as well!!! :-)

I have more update pics to go up as well, hopefully I'll get most everything done today.

I really enjoyed Universal when we went on Dec 16th, the crowds were not too bad then either considering it was christmas. We were there for the first day of the Macy's thanksgiving parade, i think it was only on for a week. I enjoyed it but my parents liked Disney's parades better
It turned very chilly that afternoon waiting for the parade, i ended up buying myself a sweater to keep warm. We were going to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe but changed our minds when we saw how expensive it was!, plus it was very loud!.

there are twirling and dance team competitions plus president's day weekend coming up. then march is spring break time and easter is early this year so march is going to be pretty crowded as well. with easter being early, april might actually be a bit more quiet except for our foreign visitors. actaully we were at the studios yesterday watching some of the competition and even with all the cheerleading groups, the park didsn't seem so crowded. the key is to go on saturdays because that is the day they compete so they aren't running througout the resort.

I just got back from a trip from Sunday afternoon (10th) through today (13th). Sunday was a little crowded, but not too bad. Overall, we didn't think any of the parks were overly packed. Sunday was the worst by far, but we still got everything we wanted done. The high school groups were a tad annoying because it seems like parents have not taught manners or respect. I can't remember a time in my history of visiting the parks that I had to ask annoying kids to turn off their cell phones/cameras/video games/camcorders on a ride. Even the parents were obnoxious. There was one lady watching a video of her kid's cheerleading competition on her camera in the library of ToT. The sound was on and there were just people shrieking on it. I just had to shake my head in disbelief.

We still managed to have an amazing time though.
