Those rates don't exactly make my toes tingle.

that's not much of a discount. Isn't the regular price for a Value resort around $89?

I know that in July last year, which is more of a peak season than these dates, we got Carribean Beach for around $99 a night with the Florida Resident/AP discount so these rates don't seem that great!

But these plans include dining, unless I'm reading that wrong. If they include dining, not a bad deal at all.

No, those wouldn't include the dining plan. It's a $25 discount off of normal rates for that time frame.

Rack rate for a value resort in value season standard location is actually $82, 7 days a week according to Mousesavers.
But March 30, to May 21 is not value season. It's regular season where the rates are $99 Sunday-Thursday and $109 Friday and Saturday nights.
So $74 and $84 represent a $25 discount or just over 25% and a bit under 25% respectively are a good discount for a Value resort during that time frame.
But as you can see, I wouldn't necessarily run out and buy an AP just to get them.

The AP discounts always work out to be a better value at the luxury resorts.

The discounts this year have been smaller than previous years. But when tourism goes down, I'm sure that will change.
