How are the crowds the first week in May?

Hey guys and gals! Thinking about taking about a week trip out to the resort next May in 06. When I was growing up, we used to always go in June, July, or early August. I was in school and the only time that we could go was during the summer. My question is, if I go the first week in May, what can I expect crowd wise and weather wise? When we used to go in the summers, I remember VERY hot weather and LONG lines. How will it be going in early May? The reason I am thinking about that time is because most of the kids will still be finishing up school and that's before it gets to hot. What do you guys think?

the first week of may is not bad.. Florida schools are still in session... weather is begining to get hot but usually stable.. lines not bad except on weekend...

I was there the first week of May this year... crowds were aboslutely non-existant. ESPECIALLY durring evening EMH... everything was a walk-on!

It's a great time to go.. and the weather is pretty decent! (Although it was overcast pretty much the whole time I was there... )
