    Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Anyone else excited for this years Flower and Garden Festival? There's just something extra special about walking through Epcot and seeing the different topiary and flowers. My favorite part is probably the "Characters in Bloom" weekend where they have a lot more characters running around the park for meet and greets. It seems this years theme is "Fun In The Sun". So excited!

I got this article in my email today and it just makes me want to run over there this weekend and check it out. LOL

Have you ever wondered what it's like to enter a lush garden aflutter with hundreds of butterfly wings? Or how about escaping into a serene water garden? These are just some of the adventures awaiting Guests at the Epcot International Annual Flower and Garden Festival.
Celebrating its fifteenth year, the flourish-filled fest has extended its run to 75 days, from March 19 to June 1, offering a magical journey into the world of gardening. Guests are greeted by a 14-foot topiary of Goofy riding the waves at the Epcot's front gate while Mickey and Minnie relax beachside in a nod to this year's theme, "Fun in the Sun." More Disney Characters will be blooming than ever before, along with specialty gardens geared toward food lovers, English tea aficionados, and even those with not-so-green thumbs.

I think your zoo is my zoo

Bergen County Zoo at Van Saun Park ?

They changed the butterfly house last summer, and put birds in it instead. Now you can go in and the birds eat out of your hands. Of course right now, in the winter, there is nothing in that space at all.

I went to Butterfly World in Coconut Creek FL a few weeks ago. It is really amazing. They are everywhere and they land on you. They have birds too that will eat out of your hand, beautiful gardens. It's so nice and peaceful; they play lite symphony music as you walk through the butterfly areas.

Well, that would be a "TDLFAN" and a "TDR_Fan". See the difference? But I get you.

It's like those "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" shirts they have in the parks. LOL

Although I'm sure both you ladies are unique and special in your own ways.

BTW Denise, I love that sand angel mickey, makes me laugh everytime I see it.
