Window at Pinocchio's Village Haus Question

I was listening to one of my podcasts this morning when they were discussing Fantasyland restaurants. The subject of the window at Pinocchio's Village Haus came up, which overlooks the loading area at "it's a small world."

This made me wonder --- what were the imagineers thinking when they designed this window here? The window doesn't really add to the atmosphere in either place. I think it distracts the guests floating by in the attraction.

Does anyone have any ideas?

"Oh look, a ride. Let's go ride that."

Or.

"Oh look, a restaurant. Let's go eat there."

I dunno - maybe one or both of those?

Could be, or maybe it's "at DL they have a beautiful outdoor loading area, we can't do it here, so let's give them a window."

I like being able to eat while seeing the ride.

Good question. Here's some more food for thought. These windows start at the floor. Below the waste is obscured by some railing, but there is quite a bit of visibility of the entire person eating. Such exposure is usually considered to be too much for personal comfort. I would think that these windows would start higher up from the floor.

I think it's kinda like POTC at DL or The San Angel in next to... The former Rio del Temps. Just bright and looking through glass....

The positioning of the windows do not bother me at all. I am more distressed by the lack of maintenance that goes into a ride that was refurbished a couple of years ago. Last time I rode IASW a few weeks ago, I counted 7 dolls not working. That is unacceptable.

I like it. When we ride IASW we wave at the people at the window. When we eat at PVH we wave at the riders. Its in the load area, not really in the ride.

There are enough seats at PVH that if you dont want to sit next to the window then you dont have to,

I wonder if they could even find it without a park map.

I don't know, but every time I ride IASW and look at that window I just want to go up there with a bottle of windex and clean up after those kids (and adults) with their hands and finger marks all over!

I like the windows from both angles.

--It is the "Happiest Cruise to Ever Sail", so I always think of the people in the window as the people on land wishing us a bon voyage

--I typically have one day of vacation where I am on my own at the MK. I love to sit there while eating and watch the boats. (ok, that wasn't supposed to sound as "sad old man feeding the ducks in the park" as it did).

It took me a LONG time to figure out where that window went to. Like, 3 visits. I know...stupid moment.
