News Monthly Meets Now Standard! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!

Effective May 2008

With the interest in the WDW meets growing, I have decided to make a standard monthly meet, every 3rd Saturday of the month. The meeting location will be at Epcot, at the Pin station umbrellas at 11:00 A.M.. I think this makes it easier for everyone all around, so they will know that every month there is a meet, at the same time. Now, that doesn’t mean there won’t be special Mice Chat meets set up around that, Gay Days, Invasion, or any future events that might be held. This also affords me the ability to not have to organize every one, so I can take a break if I want to and not go one month.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and efforts to make the WDW sector of Mice Chat successful. I look forward to making even more lifelong friends and seeing everyone there!

Come out to one of the meets and have a great time, I always do.

Here is the meet information, one more time.

When: Every 3rd Saturday of the month.
Where: Epcot at the Pin Station Umbrella's
Time: 11:00 A.M.

Well, looks like the one for May will be on the 17th. I'll be there the 16th so I'll miss out again.

Well, now you will have the opportunity to schedule future trips knowing when the meets will be, see how beneficial that is?

well, next year (if you keep it going that long) I will have to plan my trip to be there. Or maybe you could plan a special meet around me. heehee. Everyone wants to meet Stitchy.....right?

Oh, thanks!!! You are on the top of my list of people to meet; Summer. You always make me laugh!! I just worry....we both are camera people....would we ever put them down long enough to have a conversation? haha

Well, after my May trip, I won't be back at WDW until August and I'm planning on going for a couple days in the middle of the week to avoid the busier weekend crowds as I'll have more vacation time then and I plan on taking a off August 8-15 (the 8th is my birthday, which I can take as a paid holiday... then the following week off as regular vacation). Then after August, I won't be back that way until late October or early November... maybe.

I'm glad to hear Walt Disney World has a meet up group! I really don't know anyone here (being that I'm from out of state originally) that is as much of a Disney enthusiast as me! I can't wait to make friends!

I have no clue there anything is . But I would love to do a meet.

Well I'll be in WDW over may 17th but we were planning on being in the Magic Kingdom that day. Was anyone else planning on being there for it?:P

And yet oddly enough and by sheer coincidence it looks like we'll be having a small Disneylander micechat meet in WDW on the 14th just because we happen to be there at the same time

That's pretty much how meets have gone in the past - not like I'd know from personal experience or anything.

Great idea Summer in setting this one up officially. I think this will be great for every time of the year except come the Thanksgiving and Christmas time frame.

But then again, who would go to the park then anyway? We could have that meet at PI!

I also think it should be added to the MC calendar.
