How does Disney's Luau compare to the 2 other Orlando Luaus?

I love the "Spirit of Aloha" at the Polynesian. I do it on almost every other trip. Overall the experience is great.

I love the hula dancers and the fire jugglers, but I find the story unnecessary and the food just average.

So, I am considering trying either The Wantilan Luau at Royal Pacific Resort Hotel in Universal Orlando, or the Makahiki Luau at Sea World.

Has anyone done them? How do they compare? Maybe I will just go all out and do 3 different luaus on my next trip.... hmmmmm.

I havnt done the Spirit of Aloha. Would you recomend even if youre not staying at the PR?

Howdy! Well I will let you know my personal opinion.
To me spirit of alohas story really just ruined everything for me. The venue is the coolest venue out of the three, but I just hate the story that they have going on.

Personally I like Makahiki Luau, as it has the BEST food, and a very traditional Luau theme.

You don't need park admission to SeaWorld to attend it, so you get a nice stroll through the park on your way to it!

I have stayed at Poly and I have attended the Spirit of Aloha... but oddly enough, never at the same time.

As for the show. As I said above, I love all of the hula girls and native dancing, but like Eric, I don't like the story.

It's a corny tale about a college girl who returns from the mainland and tried to convince grandma that the old ways are out and she should get with the modern times.

It's silly. But, it wraps around all of the other elements which are really the focus of the show. That stuff is great.

It's about $50, I think, but you get all you can eat food and all you can drink beer.

Thanks for the tip about Sea World, I knew park admission is not required, but I think it's neat that you get to walk through the park (I assume under the watchful eye of an escort, right?)
