I went to the World at the beginning of the month for a fantastic week.
Last year I stayed at the Boardwalk and I wanted to stay there again, but it was booked and I had to 'settle' for the Beach Club.
Boy was I lucky! I love the Beach Club even more than the Boardwalk now!
There was a duck in the pool:
This of course is not Stormalong Bay, the ultra cool, damn near waterpark style pool that Beach Club also has.
After getting to the hotel I braced myself for the bad weather that the foreboding sky indicated...
And boy did it rain.
On Sunday I attend a very wet Pirate and Princess Party.
Foolishly I wore a Dodgers cap. I have a Pirates hat. That would have been so much better.
Here are some horrible pictures of the parade:
The next day was sunny. Nice and sunny.
And I got to meet Art in the lobby!
I was excited to meet Art because I had seen him on TV:
I was hoping the Appliance Direct guy would be in the lobby, too. But he wasn't.
In the morning I ate breakfast at the Cape May Cafe:
It was good. I think most of the breakfast buffets are the same at Walt Disney World. Good, just the same.
The Beach Club is sooooooooo close to Epcot. It's absurd. The walk is absolutely amazing.
Later, it threatened to rain... but barely rained at all.
Here is a picture of the fife and drum band by the American Adventure. I love this stuff.
Herman's Hermit's were playing. Great music.
OMG! The candy making lady in Japan is AMAZING! Really. And not amazing like my walk from the hotel to Epcot. Magician amazing.
Seriously, she made candy so fast it looked like it must have been a trick. She was like Criss Angel... without being as slimy as Criss Angel.
She didn't give me any candy so I bought this:
Pretty dang cool.
Over in Mexico they had this:
Doesn't seem as cool.
I got more photos, maybe I will upload some more tomorrow. Do you like the thumbnails? Or should I go with full size photos? (EDIT: I got rid of the thumbnails)
