It was where the Lights, Motors, Action stunt show is now.

I never knew there was a Golden Girls house back there! That's hilarious. What else did they have?

Ok, they should have put THIS out in the park as a real ice cream stand! That would have been awesome! And so much more appropriate than that silly steamship thing or even Gertie. It was actually in a DISNEY movie!

    Great pictures aimster!

The only other house I can recall being on residental st was the Weston's house from Empty Nest, which was a spin off of Golden Girls, Harry Weston was the GG's neighbor. There were other houses but none that I can name off hand.

Where was that dog ice cream stand I don't remember ever seeing it and don't know which movie it was from?

^^As stated before, the dog building was used in the movie The Rocketeer. It was part of the old backlot tour.

^^ As also stated before, it was part of the old backlot tour, before they ripped out Residential Street and put in the Lights, Motors, Action stunt show. The building was in that area if I remember correctly.

You could also walk back to the homes during the Osbornes Lights during the holdays. Georger Of The Jungle's treehouse was there for a while there too as well as Ernst and Alice's house from "Adventure in Wonderland". Does anyone remeber when Herbie was a part of the backlot tour?

Golden Girls house and Empty Nest house were the only houses that were really notable. I think they were just facades, not complete houses, unlike the majority of the Houses (which have been around since the 1950's) in Universal Studios HOLLYWOOD.

The street scene on the Disney Tram tour was not very old, so it really didn't get much of a chance for the houses to be recognized.

I'm with Eric! My first trip wasn't until 2004, so I love to see the older photos from those of you who have been going for many years. Thanks for sharing.
