Re: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - worth it?

This is what my friend Jennifer, and I did. We picked a day for the party. Since the party doesn't let you in until about 4:30, we planned other activities that didn't require admission into the parks. We did a tour at Epcot in the morning. We had Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian following that, and then we headed to the party. It was a wonderful day. Then again, My entire trip, last year at Christmastime was wonderful. I only wished that I could have shared that experience with my grandson as well.

I figured I'd let the photos speak for themselves. That is part of the trip report that I did for MiceChat when I returned from my December trip last December.

The castle was amazing, and the special Holiday Wishes was as good, if not better than the Remember Fireworks at Disneyland.

Unless my financial situation prevents it, I am planning on being at Disneyland for 6 nights beginning on the 4th of December. I saw the east coast park for the holidays, now I want to see the west coast one. Then someday, I hope to do the Disney Cruise. I have been very lucky being able to visit at least once each year since 2003.

Well, thanks everyone for your thoughts! I brought it up to DH, and he said no to it!! He firgures (and I have to agree somewhat) that its extra money that could be spent in DtD or Pleasure Island for the night instead. We will be spending enough time in MK as is.... Don't know how true that last part will be since we will have DDs 2 & 4 and two sets of grandparents, but we will see!!!
Again, thanks for all the info, and the great pics!

Yeah, we are spening an evening at DDT to. we want to try the quest.
Also i changed my dates to not be there during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. to me, paying a ot more to play again is not cool. it would cost us all well over 100.00 and I can shop on that but to some its so worth it, and I am sure if I have been to the park over time I would do it to, but this year is all firsts and I do not want to be lost in crowds and such.
