New Pixar Restaurant Coming To DHS

WDW News Today has an article on a new eatery coming to DHS:

The new small counter-service/outdoor vending location across the street from Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be called the “Hey Howdy Hey Take-Away” and will offer a number of small food options, most of which will be accepted by the Disney Dining Plan as a snack. The space will continue the Pixar Place theming, much like that of the Toy Story Midway Mania queue and the other toys related items around the Pixar Studios. We should have some pictures of the soon-to-open location later this week, so stay tuned!!!

What a stupid name for this food location. Sounds like "Take away a ho" kinda of thing.

I'm guessing that's a line from the movie, part 1 or 2, if so I'm sure Kids will love it which is what the theming is after... well the kids whining to their parents "no I want a drink/food from THAT place"

"Hey Howdy Hey Take-Away"? Is that really supposed to mean something to somebody?

I agree with those who say it's a stupid name. It also adds more to the clutter.

ORDDU: My sisters and I don't think it's THAT bad. However, there's already a Toy Story themed restaurant in the park. Unless they're planning to close it down, they certainly wouldn't need a second.

ORWEN: Hey Howdy Hey is the title of a song from Toy Story. I overheard Gurgi singing it just the other day. It's cute.

the area is PIXAR Place. Not Toy Story Place. I don't see why they are treating it as if it will only have Toy Story attractions in it. A Ratatouille themed eatery should have been implemented and the massive toys shouldn't have been added. It destroys any illusion of being in the Pixar Studios. If they honestly matched the hand-kilned bricks that they use in the real studios, why would they clutter them up with giant Green Army Men and the like?

Maybe that would have been better, though I think a ho would cost more than a snack credit.

When I say the name of the new restaurant I say it something like this.... "Hey Howdy Hey Howdy Hey Hey He...... I don't really give a crap anymore."

    Hey Howdy Hey

There's a way to say "hello"
    That all the cowboys know
A phrase that even city folks can say
Well ya just say "Hey," then "Howdy"
    And then say "Hey" again
Yep, that's the way we say "Hey Howdy Hey!"

The opening lyrics from a song on Woody's Round-up Soundtrack

A Ratatouille restaraunt would be a much better choice. A Ratatouille restaurant should actually be a nice table service restaraunt to fit the theme of the film though. I don't think Remy would be too keen on most WDW counter service food.

How many Toy Story themed restaraunts does one park need in the first place?

I dunno Denise... You know how overpriced the WDW restaurants are now a days... Besides, calling this counter-service a "restaurant" is a stretch. Then again... ho and stretch aside... what else do you expect from a movie with a character named Woody?
