I was thinking the exact same thing. If you look at the ads at the top of the page they are very dated. I remember them from 5 or 6 years ago. I guess this page was forgotten. It's like a time capsule.

The map was the primary reason I posted the link because it's a great find for someone who collects Disney maps, or just wanting a piece of childhood.

Ha! That's amazing! I'm surprised that this page is still around. Sadly, I never made it over to River Country, but I just love this kinda stuff!

I did visit River Country and wish it was still opened.. but I remember being cautious because most pools and slide dropoff were deep, and you had to know how to swim to enjoy some of those offerings.

Still I miss this and the Island as well. It's a part of classic WDW we'll never get back it seems.

hey, if you visit Live Maps, you can see some of the remains of River Country and Discovery Island.

The places are really overgrown and run-down but it's still cool to look at them.
For Discovery Island, you got to explore a little to actually see some of the old buildings and any signs of previous civilization.
