Re: Disney's Celebrate America!-A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky

I've never seen a new fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom before, but "figmentfan" did posted a video of a full show from last night after a few days of previews, this is the whole show. Sadly, 2007 was the final performance of a 4th of July "Fantasy in the Sky" where Tinkerbell flies over Cinderella Castle, this new show does not have Tinkerbell flying over Cinderella Castle and it's quite fun. Lots and lots and lots of shells being displayed all over the place including the castle rooftops, the Fantasyland rooftops and many many others. I want to thank YouTube for this entire show. Here it is in two parts.

    PART 1

    PART 2

And let's take a time machine back to 2007 where we will bring you a 4th of July "Fantasy in the Sky" for one last time at the Magic Kingdom.

In past years, all transportation in and out of the area had to be shut down for about a half hour. Now, just ferry and bus transport is out of the equation.
I don't think I agree with that. Safety guidelines shouldn't be any different whether they shoot off 1 set of perimeters or 100. And yes, there will be many hassles on the fourth with crowd control, but I think MK should have gone the extra step and had more perimeters.

I agree but I guess some guests would rather not stay to watch the show and leave at the last minute. Well, at least they had 4 zones launching at all times.

Here are a couple of videos taken from North of the castle...

oh my.... um...... yeah. ok, Those lines at the Ticket and Transportation Center Ticket booths are EVERY morning are not selling annual passes. And you might not believe me, but a HUGE portion of those tickets are infact one-day one park tickets. Think Half. On any given day, 365 days a year, the amount of guests in any WDW park there on a 1-day 1Park ticket is several times the population of guest holding Annual Passes. Not even in laymerns terms is it correct to say no body goes to WDW for a single day. There is still a large portion of our guest who, dispite WDW's well marketed Magic your way tickets, buy their tickets the old fashioned way. One day and one park at a time. Do those people make up the majority of park visits.... no, that would likely go to resort guests on a Magic your way multiday pass, but they do easily out number the number of annual passholders in the park on any given day.
