    Yeah, the main difference is that in the Orange ride, you feel the G forces, and in the Green one, you don't. The G forces make all the difference in making Orange more of a thrill ride.

    The spinning is what creates the G forces -- it actually doesn't feel like spinning at all.

    That's because both you and the environment are spinning.

    As the centrifuge increases speed, your body wants to move in the direction tangent to the actual projected path of the centrifuge, causing the feeling of G-Forces.

    Yeah, that's why it's important to follow the rules. If you close your eyes or look side to side, you will start to feel the spinning. But if you don't do those silly things, all you will feel are the G-Forces -- that's how you experience the spinning. In fact, after doing the Orange ride, my g.f. was convinced that the ride doesn't spin at all. That's because your body doesn't even tell you "hey, we're spinning".
